Here is a loof at some of the QB's in case we dont get Quinn or Russell

Trent Edwards, Stanford: A talented signal-caller with good overall skills. Not quite the polished player, he still flashes a good combination of arm strength, touch and savvy. Edwards' decision-making and deep-ball arm strength aren't ideal, but he has played a ton of football in a pro-style offense. He didn't get a chance to showcase his talent due to a marginal supporting cast, but has the right ingredients to develop into a starter on the next level. He should hear his name called near the top of Round 3.
Comparable NFL player: Marc Bulger

Drew Stanton, Michigan State: An athletic QB with a big arm and unlimited pro potential. His velocity, zip and arm strength are impressive, but his decision-making and dip in production as a senior is a concern. Despite his disappointing statistics as a senior, Drew's talent makes him a worthy pick in the second round. He is a bit of a wild card who could develop into an elite level QB in the right environment.
Comparable NFL player: Alex Smith

Troy Smith Ohio State: A slightly undersized, athletic QB with a strong arm and outstanding intangibles. He has developed into an efficient pocket passer, but is at his best when forced to improvise outside the pocket. Though not a perfect fit in every offense, he shows the potential to develop into a starter with time. His leadership, toughness and athleticism will make him successful. He should be plucked off the board in the third round.
Comparable NFL player: David Garrard

Jared Zabransky, Boise State: A streaky passer with good athleticism and mobility. He lacks elite-level arm strength, accuracy and touch, but finds a way to be effective from the pocket. He has a knack for buying time with his feet and is a dual threat when allowed to get to the perimeter. His questionable decision-making will result in a high number of turnovers, but he made major strides in this area as a senior. He is a developmental prospect who will get a look as a late-round prospect.
Comparable NFL player: Jeff Garcia, coming out of school

I honestly think that if we dont draft Quinn, it will likely be Drew Stanton or Trent Edwards.

I would not mind having Stanton in the second and fill other needs in the first round.

I wonder how Trent Edward will do in the Combine another dark horse is Leak for all of you guys who have seen Leak throw the ball the guy throws one of the best spyros i have seen and he has an arm.

They did the measurements at the combine today. Just on body type Quinn and Edwards looked liked they were carved in stone and both were almost 6'4" and around 230+. J Russell looked like **** and weighed 265. I can't believe he showed up looking like he just spend two months living on pizza and beer.

Obviously, looks don't always translate to the field, but it does show some huge dedication.

If Russell goes #1 he will be the next Ryan Leaf. The guy has a horrible work ethic.

I like Troy Smith
He would be a steal in the 2nd Round
i belive in daunte but if it dont work out hey we could try troy smith
