Revis responds to Vontae Davis best cornerbacks comment.

We know how we play and we know what we do on that field not just as a corner tandem but as a secondary. We play great football.”

I like our tandem, but Revis is better than Vontae and Cromartie is better than Smith...I think its pretty much hands down too..
 
watch what film? your highlight film revis? because when i watch film on cromartie i see a hell of an athlete thats scared to make contact.....oh hey ted ginn

Oh yeah. Hopefully our offense will be explosive enough that we can get around the Jets while at the same time our secondary and D in general could be great as well.
 
Honestly, those saying cromartie blows, and he wouldn't start here? Smith has good potential, but he's just as afraid of contact as cromartie. I would start cromartie over smith hands down. I know it was in the past, but smith was benched for J Allen. Could smith be better than cromartie? yes, has he shown he is so far? no.

He blows? Let's be realistic here, guys. I don't like the jets just like the rest of you but cromartie is a solid corner. He's not on revis' level but he's still good. And Davis and Smith are not on the same level as those two. Hopefully they both continue to get better and Smith starts actually catching the ball.

I don't think it's fair to say Cromartie blows, but he's certainly nowhere near the player Revis is. He'd start for many if not most teams and be the #1 corner on a few, but the Dolphins just aren't one of those teams.
 
Cromartie is decent enough yeah, but the Jets were sure looking to upgrade this year and ended up stuck with him again.
