Revis > Suh

Not sure why no one has suggested this. Revis + Grimes would be insane. No chance Pats pick up his option.

the money for those guys are extremely high... would be tough to bring them in and build on depth and other positions of need as well.

but for the most part i would also be shocked if the Patriots dont resign him

The Dolphins aren't Super Bowl contenders. By the time the Dolphins first get to the playoffs and then become contenders it would be time to replace Revis and Grimes and start rebuilding the secondary. I really don't think non-playoff teams should build around players 30 years or older.

now overrated. because people still saying he is the best. well, Ive seen him get burned numerous times by avg. WR stat wise. He can stop most of the time, but he does get beat and Sherman was sure to point that out in the SB. Who da thunk some no name would make the play of the century?

If we paired Revis with Grimes that would make our secondary so filthy. Probably not gonna happen though :(

For the same price, I would sign Suh every time. He would leave much more of an impact on the team, especially against the run. It's well known that a great pass rush also makes the secondary look/play better. It all starts upfront on both sides of the ball.

While there is some connection with Tannebaum and Revis from the Jets days, I still don't see this happening...I would rather take Suh than Revis if I had to choose one but dont think either is happening..

They are not the same price. Suh will earn more than Revis next season. He is still young and will command top $. I expect the teams like Jax (approx $60M under salary cap) and Oakland ($48M under salary cap), that have massive amounts to spend will be in a position to make an incredible offer. If Suh is going to the biggest bidder, they can outbid everyone and force Detroit to use the franchise tag if they want to keep him.
Revis will go to the biggest bidder and his price just went up after a good season helping New England to win the Super Bowl. I can see Belichick letting him walk. I can't help but respect the Island. He is 100% business first and has made that clear throughout his career. He will go down as one of the best CBs in the game - a total professional. (A great Tannenbaum Draft pick).

What about Brandon Flowers?

now this is a guy to bring in if we are looking and willing to spend a bit in FA for CB. I've liked him since he has come in since KC... solid player

Just looked up Revis' stats from this past season and they are literally almost identical to his 2013 season when he was in Tampa Bay and everyone considered that season a failure
