Darrelle Revis didn't appreciate what the Dolphins had to say in the days leading up to Sunday's game at Gillette Stadium. He said he saw quotes coming out of Miami that painted the Dolphins as ever-boastful, 13 weeks after their Week 1 win over the Patriots.

"There was a lot of talk," Revis said following New England's AFC East-clinching 41-13 win on Sunday. "Those guys were chirping. The Miami Dolphins were chirping this week about [how] they should've beat us by 50 and all of those type of things in the first game.

"If that's what they wanna do, then that's what they want to do. The one thing you gotta understand is you get a second stab at it because we're in the same [division]. You might need to watch what you say."

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Patriots used the video screens inside the Patriots facilities to display quotes from Miami players after they beat the Patriots back in Week 1. The quotes used showed that the Dolphins thought the Patriots quit.

Oh f Revis, his island has been inhabited.no one **** talks like the Pats.

Yeah ...someone should remind Revis that we scored 13 points against him and his defense today. So take that, Revis! haha!!!

Honestly, this is blowhard syndrome. For all the fire the Pats supposedly got out of those quotes, they were outplayed by far in the first half. The Dolphins were just too inept at finishing.

And what exactly did Revis Island do to impact this game anyway? Guy is living on his hype from five years ago.

So a moral victory then?

Ha, no, no such thing in this situation. It's just this is something for Revis to get his name out there and fodder for some columnist. If almost anyone other than Revis said this, it MIGHT mean something.

The Dolphins are a bad team right now and should not be talking trash about anything. Still hope Revis and the Pats get stomped in the playoffs.

All the Fins receivers pissed all over his island in the first game.
If we had the same players from the first game lined up against them today, we would have rolled them in Patsyville.
You have to play them game with what you have, and today the Pats were the superior team.

This game had blowout written all over it. Congrats Darelle you beat a shell of the team you faced in week 1.

Seems Landry did really well against him today.
