:rotfl1:When we are 10-3 or 10-4, is he going to come back and revise it again? The four-letter network is such a joke.

Miami Dolphins reporter James Walker revises his season prediction at the midway point of the season:

Preseason prediction: 8-8

Revised prediction: 9-7

Why the Dolphins will finish with a better record: The Dolphins are 5-3 and a little ahead of the pace I expected this season. Three straight victories against the Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars and San Diego Chargers have put the Dolphins in good standing to make a push for the playoffs during the second half of the season.

There have been several surprises that have led to Miami's fast start. First, the defense is one of the best in the NFL. I expected Miami’s defense to be good, but this group is playing at an elite level. The Dolphins are ranked No. 2 in the NFL against the pass and allowing just nine points per game in the past three weeks. The Dolphins have a chance to be in nearly every game with their defense playing at such a high level.

Cause this revision has nothing to do w. the Phins and everything to do w. trying to cover his butt.

This is a crock... Predictions are just that, you can't revise them, you can only explain why you made them and the admit why you were right or eat crow... That's like these guys that said comet is on was gonna hit earth, it passed no collision and then they come back and say oops we had wrong comet, should be the next one to pass by. Stick to your guns and admit wrongs stop hiding behind them cause eventually when u are right, nobody believes you.....speaking of some kid is gettin eatin by a wolf in my backyard, guess if he didn't lie all the time I may have run out to save him, but fresh prince reruns are on and I ain't fallen for that bs again lol
 
Yeah it's pretty dumb. I'm not saying I'm 100% sure we win the games we're supposed to win but if we do he's pretty much saying we sweep the Jets, beat Minny and win just 1 of the remaining 5 tough games we have left. Not exactly a very tough prediction. I'm hoping for 11-5 and that we start Sunday. We really need to see this team win a close game for full validation because it will likely have to.
 
So should I bet everything I have on this outrageous claim?
 
I called 11-5 at the start of the year and people said I was insane! Well, I am probably borderline, but that prediction is looking better every week!
 
ehhh espn has every beat guy that covers a team for em at the half way point do this...so its not on walker...
 
That was mine as well just hope that's good enough to get in this year. Several teams have 5 or more wins.
 
I said 8-8 or 9-7 I still think I wont be far wrong
