Assuming the Dolphins lose to the Patriots...
and
Assuming the Colts, Patriots, Bengals, and Chargers take their respective divisions...
2 Wildcard spots...
Broncos have 4 losses but play @ Philly, @ Indy, plus 3 divisional games...
I see 3 losses... Broncos finish 9-7 with a weak conference record
Steelers have 5 losses but still play the Dolphins in Miami. They also play the Ravens and Green Bay. I see 2 losses out of those 3 games. Steelers are not playing good football right now.
Ravens also have 5 losses. They have a weak schedule. They play @ Green Bay Monday night where a loss here would be huge.
Jacksonville also has 5 losses. They have the best conference record right now out of all the wildcard teams. Unfortunately for them, their schedule is brutal. Their next four are vs. Houston, vs. Miami, vs. Colts, @ Indy. Jags are the most bipolar team in the NFL but I dont see any wins here. Their defense is terrible (10 sacks on the year). Jacksonville should finish with 8 losses.
Houston has 6 losses. Easy formula. Fins beat them (its bound to happen eventually!) and they get that 7th loss.
Titans. Read above.
Jets. No way this sorry team wins out. They play @ Tampa Bay (W), vs. Atlanta (W), @ Indy (L) - and there goes their season.
Wildcard will come down to 4 teams...
Broncos finish 9-7 with 5 conference losses.
Steelers finish 9-7 with a head-to-head loss to the Fins.
Ravens finish 10-6 and take the 5th seed.
Dolphins (Fins always go on a late season run) - After losing to the Patriots, we get the first W @ Jacksonville whos defense is terrible. Titans crash after losing to the Colts this week. Texans? Its bound to happen sometime! Loss of Owen Daniels is huge for us. Final game vs. Pittsburgh will be flexed to Sunday Night. Winner gets in the playoffs and thats all us fans can hope for. Let the players play and get us in!
