Because this ended up in The Depths due to some inevitably predictable influences, I'm screen-capping the results as a new thread, rather than bumping one restricted to Big Bry's Locker.

In the perspecive of, and relation to the latest poll, less than 2 months later, it's amazing that on the basis of 2 - 3 games early this season, with an OL missing an injured Pouncey and 3 jagoffs who were sent packing, wideouts and tight ends with hands of stone, and defenses that were more porous than swiss cheese, there now seem to be a helluva lot of fickle fans around here. :dontknow:

I'm far more concerned with the success of the team than an single player at this point in time.

Tannehill's individual accomplishments are of no concern of mine. If Tannehill is statically in the top 5-10 but we're losing it means nothing. On the flipside, if he remains around the 15 ranking but is an efficient and consistent cog on a winning team - that's what matters to me.

This is the perfect picture of why you can make money betting against people... Stock market, sports market you name it... There's your anwser...

Yes. We're not so predictable now that we can run the ****ing ball and can keep our QB upright a little more.

Before the season started I was expecting better than blowout losses to Tennessee and the Bengals. Anyone who wants to argue we've found success as sit below .500 with a few back to back wins where everything went right can gladly refer back to Texans/Titans last year.

I don't think this needs to be some week to week analysis on the thoughts and feelings of fans and their QB. When 16 games are played with the Gase offense and hopefully a majority of those games are played with a healthy o line I think we'll all be able to see how Tannehill played. Until then these provoking threads are just inciting the same repetitive arguments with the only variance being for us to pull on the most recent display from our QB...which was great, but also outshined by a 200+ yard performance from our RB.

Fickle fans are not surprising considering our team has the consistency to match.

I think we'll learn a lot Sunday. The Jets are not going to allow us to beat them running the football. We obviously cannot abandon it but we'll need the passing game to come through for us. If the protection holds up there should be no excuses for Ryan not to have a good game. Although, I hate how the media is firing up Darelle Revis this week.

I notice that the RT17 confidence level of the current Tannehill Sentiment Poll has now tripled over the 3 weeks since it's results yielded 8%. Since there are no provisions for vote changing, it's probably higher than that.

Again, the above-noted poll results of 85% pro Tannehill occurred about 3 weeks prior to the current one.

So this bump merely serves as a cautionary reminder for those who want to use that poll - or even this recent one as a referendum - not to read too much into them due to the understandably present bi-polar nature of our fan base.

Because the Dolphins have just been a solid rock of consistency to not justify such reaction and judgement.

just win.. i don't care if ajayi runs for 20 or 200, nor do i care if tannehill has 1td or 4.. just win and all is better with me.

I did say "understandably"

Touche' :brewskis:

Making brash judgements and rash decisions is part of the fun as a fan, IMO. Most everywhere else in life doesn't typically lend to such pleasures or is kind to those actions. :mike13:
