Rewards for good play???

Those guys didn't have 1 good play between them:

Dolphins: Jelani Jenkins, LB; Dallas Thomas, T; Dion Sims, TE; Kenny Stills, WR
 
I'm not so sure Dallas Thomas is happy about his pay raise -- possibly a big target now for cap casualty.
 
So, we have to pay Thomas more because the coaching staff couldn't see how badly he sucked???
 
Performance escalators can be anything, number of starts, numbers of games played, etc.
I wouldnt think too much of it.
 
Dallas Thomas sucked but he was healthy most of the year and helped fill the holes left by injuries throughout the line and sucked at every different position. If we cut him and he became a great player I would stop watching sports for the rest of my life.

On another note... we need to go after players that can play multiple positions on the offensive line. I was baffled as to why we didn't resign Samson Satele last year when we needed help at C.
 
Its not a raise for good play, its a raise for play. Its related to total snaps taken, they could of been the worst guy on the field like dallas thomas was but as long as they spent a long time as the worst player then they get a raise in pay. Jelani deserves it though, 2 year starter making peanuts. Regressed a little this year but was awesome last year.

We know why they pay increase. Doesn't make it any less frustrating.

I can't imagine being terrible at my job, and then my boss walks to my desk and says "you suck at your job, but you've been sucking at it for a long time, so here's a raise!"
 
If Dallas Thomas survives another off-season I will be speechless. His due a raise, has never played well and had his worst year this last season. For the love of God please cut that sack of garbage.
 
Dallass Thomas and others recieved "performance Bonus" ???

Here is a full list of players that received a performance escalator based on their performance.

WTF??? All these players should receive nothing but a kick in their pants.

that's like paying the head of the IRS and Lois Lerner for doing a good job.
 
If they do not cut Dallas Thomas in the near future, I will have serious doubts about those that are in the management of this team.(Not that I did not have doubts already)
