I know that in the last mini-camps Rex was tried out at guard again, but it appears the move has become official. If you go to the Miami Dolphins website you will notice that all three QBs are taking snaps and Hadnot is no where to be found. Im guessing Satele or Mormino will start at C, but dont rule out Ingram.

In my opinion this is the best thing that can happen. Satele can become our starting C and an anchor for this o-line and Hadnot can be moved back to G the position that he really excels at and provide help for Shelton. My main focus will be who the other Guard will be. I would not be surprise to see Alabi, Toledo, Stevenson and Liwenski to all be tried at the position.

It appears Hadnot is being pulled from the LG or RG spot in this pic.

I prefer Satele at Guard, just because of his pulling ability. But I wouldn't mind Satele at C and Hadnot at G

In all Honesty I think we need a C with kind of a mean streak, and Satele provides that. Hadnot and Seth kind of seem to be lacking that at C and Hadnot sometimes would get pulled back. I believe Hadnot has always been a better G then C and I believe Satele will be a real good C in this league. Satele reminds me of Dwight Stephenson, a very silent guy with one heck of a mean Streak.

I do prefer Rex at guard, and noticed Ingram lined up with the first team offense at center during OCS. Interesting, and it basically tells me that Satele or Mormino will likely be our starting center come opening day, and they arent going to throw a rookie in there just yet.

I cant imagine Ingram has impressed them enough already to be running with the first team - its likely just temporary.

Can't read to much into this. Maybe they are just trying some other players. Already know what Hadnot has, so trying some other options.

Ingram was snapping with Daunte, an injured QB with not much of a future with the team, so I wouldnt look to much into that. I honestly think it is starting to look like Satele can start this season at C. A dream scenario would be both Mormino and Satele starting. We could move Satele to LG or RG, but that is just a dream scenarion and not likely to happen.

Im with you brother.

Our Line is starting to look like this:

LT Carey
LG ? Possibilities: Liweinski, Satele, Stevenson, Alabi, Toledo
C Satele or Mormino
RG Hadnot
RT Shelton

Agreed. I think you can even throw Mormino into the mix at the LG spot as well as he was running with the 2nd team and is experienced there from his days at C. Michigan when they had Eric Guichac.

i think satele could become a dominant C...we havent had one since ruddy...

Satele will start IMO, he reminds me of a young Kevin Mawae who played some guard (As I recall) in College.

I would bet that the coaches put a Vet next to Carey just to give him some support at first so maybe Liewenski moves over there.

Moronimo has a tough row to hoe, we have lots of Guards, and HOPEFULLY Toledo wil play at guard or maybe tackle if Shelton busts over there as well.

Ruddy - dominant? You've got to be joking! He was steady (which is a nice word for mediocre) and often was "flying thru the air" when he had a big nose tackle was over him. Every year they drafted someone to replace him. Quite intelligent, durable, good combo blocker but "dominant"? Not even close.

Dominant? Ruddy?

That's really funny. We both responded the same way. That's Ruddy's legacy. LOL.
