He pretty much $hit on most other teams in the NFL including Parcells and the Dolphins, when after getting Braylon Butterfingers Edwards said the Jets were a now team going for the Super Bowl.
...Yes. Good luck winning the Super Bowl with a rookie QB who only started 16 games in college, who had a QB rating of 8 vs the Bills. Yes, 8, you only need 2 hands to count it. Great gameplan. And now you lost the best player on the team in Kris Jenkins. After losing to Miami he said the Jets were going to be getting back to playing Jet football...
Congrats! Yesterday you got back to playing Jet football by losing to a bad team breaking the fans hearts for the past 40 years. (that's in the words of a Jets fans here on NY radio) Remember last season when the Jets lost to the Raiders in overtime by a FG? That's the most recent example.
So, Jets fans better hope he changes his idea and quick. We may be rebuilding, but you know what, we won 1 game in 2007, won the division thanks to Pennington who was able to mentor our QB of the future and teach him how to throw the ball and not throw 5 picks against a horrible team in 2008. and now in 2009 we know it's a stretch for the Phins to make the Super Bowl, but at least we know we have a great foundation and will most likely become an elite team in 2010 and for most of that decade.
