Rex Ryan floats a Russel Wilson trade

This is why that fat **** isn't in the league anymore. Anything that stupid mother ****er says, you should do the exact opposite. He's the ****ing worst... followed closely by Adam Gase

With him being a Captain, and the presumptive starter, on a minimum salary....it would cost too much to get him. We are in desperate times, 31 GM's know this. Any trade for us the next 7 weeks or so will be rip-off city. Everyone should understand why.

In addition, our GM better not have final say on any trade moving forward, regardless of how thrifty and/or crafty he has been in many, not all, trades.

Russell would make sense from a schematic and veteran perspective for this team, this year, but would be cost prohibitive to actually achieve...imo it would take a 1st and a conditional pick that would become a 2nd, 1st round pick. The Steelers GM's job would be on the line for anything less.

There's no way they'd trade Russell in-conference to a team in their way to the post-season for anything less regardless of RW's age.

Is he not past any good football?

Wilson is not the type of QB for McD....I don't see how he fits.

I would rather bring Zach Wilson in...at least we will be cheap and just maybe something might happen. Unlikely but maybe....

I’m not even as low on Russ as most are and I wouldn’t trade anything higher than a 5th for him and that’s only if Tua is out for the entire season.

He’ll be starting the first time the Steelers lose and Justin Fields throws for 120 yards with multiple turnovers. Should be soon.

The Dolphins have their 9-8 QB and will likely pick an o lineman with their 22nd overall pick that will never make it on to the Feild! So leave us alone already!

I wouldn't do it for an early pick. Certainly not. I think a 5th round pick ought to do it.

If the Steelers needed somewhere to go with Wilson, Miami would be an ideal landing spot.

But there's no way the Steelers would get more than a 5th round pick from me even though I like Wilson a lot. Frankly, I think he could even be a bit of an upgrade in some ways... like not diving head first and stuff.

Why would we trade for a hurt guy to replace a hurt guy?
