Rex Ryan found a coach he’s afraid of: Dolphins’ Dan Campbell

“Most times when I go across the field I can whip most head coaches,” Ryan said Wednesday. “But I ain’t whipping that one. I ain’t even trying to whip that one. He’s a big dude, man. I’m 52 years old, I’d like to see 53. So I think I’ll avoid that one.”

Ryan said he wanted to hire Campbell when he was with the Jets but that the Dolphins wouldn’t let him go.
Campbell said he has “a ton of respect” for Ryan.

For starters, Philbin has been fired, replaced by interim head coach Dan Campbell. Campbell has brought a different level of energy to the Dolphins, who are 2-1 since Philbin was fired. Bills guard Richie Incognito has noticed the difference.

"They're playing a lot harder," Incognito said. "The Dolphins are playing a lot harder under Dan. They've come out with some emotion against Tennessee and Houston and really played well. We're expecting a different ball club. We're expecting them to play physical, we're expecting them to play tough. We're expecting them to play to the level of talent they have on the roster."

"They're playing a lot more physical. They're playing with a lot more passion. They've really come together and kind of rallied around Dan. They're playing well. They're playing how I thought they would play at the beginning of the season."

In fact, ask any Bills player what's different about the Dolphins, and they all point out one thing.

Said linebacker Nigel Bradham: "They play a lot more physical. They want to run the ball more. They're getting the ball into their playmakers' hands more.

Defensive tackle Marcell Dareus echoed that sentiment.

"He's got them playing more hard-nosed football, I will say that," Dareus said.

till, the Dolphins are coming to Orchard Park with a new attitude. Philbin's Dolphins sleep-walked through their Week 3 beatdown. Campbell's Dolphins, the ones that have been running physical practices and carrying that over into games, are out to prove they're different.

"At the same time they're going to see, I'm not going to talk about it," Dolphins defensive end Oliver Vernon said. "We're just going to show up on Sunday and play a game and they'll see after the game if we are the same team."

While Campbell has sparked a change in Miami, Ryan is just glad he isn't playing.

I don't post much but when such a stupid post like this is made i'm thinking is this kid like 12 years old and can't think of anything else to do in his life but I realize this kid is probably 24 and living in his parents basement beating off to Victoria secrets ads.
