26.) Miami Dolphins - New head coach Cam Cameron has said all the right things since his January hiring, but he has to prove he's the real deal. He failed at his only other head coaching gig (18-37 at the University of Indiana between 1997-2001) and has his work cut out for him with the Dolphins, whose offensive talent isn't even close to the Chargers', whom Cameron was the O-coordinator for since '02.

I have to disagree. We are a much improved line and more consistancy at quarterback away from being a really good team. I think Trent Green brings the continuity, but it all falls on the offensive line.

Thanks for the link man. :hi5:

OMG! The Bills at 15? If the Bills were the Dolphins, and we had that roster on D, we would be ranked 31. Give me a break. He actually believes that Bills could be NO this year.

Even more than that, he has been drinking the Patriots' Kool-Aid®. I know the Patsies loaded up their roster this offseason, but I honestly don't think they'll win the Super Bowl. Heck, they won't even win the AFC.

No-one can really know what the O-Line is going to be like until Cameron practices them together.

Cameron on the starting O-Line, ""We're a long way in terms of making any decisions on who the starters will be. There will be some different combinations working throughout training camp. Every day is an evaluation process and this is the starting point.''

Even if that were to be the case, do you think that we're only the 26th best team in the league? Look, I take no stock in these or any preseason polls. I think they're all someone's opinions. Besides, they always get them wrong come season's end (e.g. Dolphins/Panthers SB XLI picks last year).

Of course, one must remember that Cole used to pen for the Herald and knows this team pretty well. I'm sure he's unbiased as a national sportswriter, but his insight could have contributed to their mid-tier ranking

Agreed. San Diego was a 2 man team. LT and Gates. The WR's were average, at best and until 2 seasons ago the O-line was one of the worst in the league.
The Phins don't have a running back of LT's caliber or TE, for that matter, BUT they have a much better corp of WR's and I think Green is as good ( or better) as Rivers (at this point).
I also think our defense all around is much better.
Let them say what they want, it's time for the Phins to prove them wrong. I'm sure these rankings have made their way around the locker room.

I disagree as well...26? Thats nuts...Put us in the top 10 for the best offseason and TC...Whats funny is the Jets at 9...All they added was a slightly above average running back and they did not have as good a draft as we had. They talk about how good their first 2 picks were. They drafted a corner who will not be able to cover the WR we drafted and they drafted a linebacker that will feel our runningback run him over. Our first two picks were much better than thier first 2 picks..."The real deal"!?!? :sidelol:

The report mentions nothing about what the Bengals did in the offseason except the fact that their division got weaker and they rank them a 10?!?!

The Bills at 15?!?!?!?!?!?

I dont know whats funnier, Buffalo at 15, or Jets at 9...Buffalo should by far be behind us

Also, no mention of the improvement of our already elite defense...

Boy, I could go on and on...this report is just plain nuts

No kidding...Moss is very overrated and will not make the team as good as they think. Stallworth is already on the PUP. Just a matter of time now when he misses for games for smokin the weed

26 would mean we've actually gotten worse since by our finish we were 23rd last year. While I'm not sure we've improved a whoooole lot, I don't think we've actually slipped.
