Since you asked....... pretty much yea they do. Not because they are black. I cant explain all of that. Do you have some explaination as to why 8 teams started the season with black QBs last season and yet not a single one of them made the playoffs? Thats 6 in just the NFC btw. 6 of 16 teams make the playoffs and yet not one of the 6 teams who started a black QB in that conference qualified. Is that just coincidence? I cant explain it. Can you?
Having said that, Warren Moon IMHO is one of the best 5 QBs I ever saw play the game. As far as I know, he was and still is black. So I dont think being black makes it impossible for a person to play the QB position well in the NFL. It just seems that almost all black QBs in the NFL are hot garbage. Id love to know why that is. It just seems like it being a coincidence is odd.
Vick blows. He is probably the 2nd best black QB playing and yet he is pretty terrible. He is maybe in the top 20 QBs in the league.
Newton looks like he might be a player. He had a good statistical season in his rookie campaign, yet his team couldnt win a damn thing. Im seriously doubting a team lead by him ever wins anything signifigant in the NFL. Maybe he qualifies a team for the playoffs one year, maybe wins a playoff game or two. He has to be the best black QB playing today.

Just make a list of the starting QBs in the game and rank them. Every year you will have a list that the top 20 has maybe 2 black QBs and thats only because people overrate someone like Vick. Then when you go to the bottom 10 or so, half of them will be black guys.
I cant explain it. Its just how it seems to be. Do you have any legitimate answers for this strange coincidence?

Ryan malllet is black ? Also Vick is maybe in the top 20 really . He is easily among the 20 best.

But, as far as Vick goes.... yea he blows dude. Philly was so loaded with talent last year. People called them the dream team. Yet, Vick couldnt lead them to the playoffs. They went 8-8.
I dont know if you have noticed this, but Vick is a TURNOVER MACHINE. He also takes a ton of sacks putting his team in negative down and distance scenarios. He stays getting injured because he dosent find open receivers while going through progressions. So yea, Vick is garbage IMHO.
You can put him in your top 20 easily if you want. I think he is fringe on that top 20 list at best. Id have to run down through it all and see where id put him. He had a couple decent season in Atlanta and he played REALLY WELL for about an 8 game stretch the year before last in Philly. It looked like he was finally going to be a QB there for a while. That didnt last though and he went back to turning the ball over on every other play.
How bout lets just take Jaws' list of 32 since he did the entire thing last month and start from there.

Looks like the QBs were drafted in the order they should have been. Looking forward to seeing Tannehill play with and against the 1st team.

WV you're looking at it backwards, and it's coming off as slightly racist. It's not that a lot of black QBs don't make the playoffs, it's that there are a **** ton of white QBs in this league. Some do great, some are ****. Most are ****, but there are so many that the chances of a white QB making it are just statistically higher based on how many there are. A lot of white coaches too. It's not that there are racial determinations for who is better, but a lot of "the state of things" has to do with historically white and black roles in football. It is changing, but it's happening slowly.

Youre argument is completely flawed on so many levels.
First of all, dont start that racism garbage.
Youre argument is that there are a lot more white QBs than black QBs in the NFL. That is true. However, if you watch college football, there are a TON of teams who not only have black QBs but start black QBs. Not only that, in HS, Id be willing to bet that the majority of QBs are black. Therefore to suggest that black people arent given opportunities to play the position is ridiculous.
Fact is, that the large majority of black QBs in the NFL just arent very good. Im not claiming to know why that is or even speculating on why. Im wondering if anyone might have a reason. I know it is not due to lack of opportunity like youre suggesting here because I see black people playing QB all the time in the HS and college levels.
I find it odd that there arent more really good black QBs in the NFL. It just so happens when you rank the starting QBs in the NFL, if you wouldve done it the last 5 seasons or so, you would notice that the top 20 has maybe only 2 black QBs, then when you look at the bottom 10 of the starting QBs 22-32 you will find that about half of that list is made up of black QBs.
Also, do you not think its odd that 6 NFC teams started black QBs last season at the beginning of the year and every one of them failed to qualify for the playoffs. You dont think that says anything? That means of the 10 teams that failed to qualify in the NFC, 6 of those 10 had black QBs starting week 1.

I think you're looking for statistics where there are just people.
Newton and Vick are ranked 4th and 5th QBs on most fantasy draft boards, but I'm not on here saying that 1/4 of all teams with black starting QBs are in the top 1/6th of the league. Because that's an absolutely ridiculous statement taking advantage of available statistics.
EDIT: Also, 8 QBs is categorically statistically inconclusive.

The one thing that bothers me about Luck's statline which can be said about any QB not just a slight at Luck, his TD to Donal Brown, it was literally a 3 yard pass to running back who ran it for 60+ yards and a TD, but in the statline its deceiving and pads the stats and QB rating, the TD to Collie was a great throw and Luck should get the credit there, but the Brown dump off is a pass a middle school QB could make
Fantasy football is not real football dude. Getting -2 when you turn the ball and 6 points when you run for a TD does not equate the reality of how a turnover effects the game vs a TD.
Look, whats relevant here is I dont think there is a good explaination as to why most black QBs simply arent very good in the NFL. If someone had one, Id love to hear it. I wish there were more good black QBs. Id really like to see a black guy outshine Vick so people can stop hyping up that dog killer.
I know the explaination is not lack of black players getting an opportunity to play the position. Just watch HS and college games. Black players get just as much of an opportunity. There is no racism involved. Coaches are going to play the best players and GMs in the NFL are going draft the players they feel will help them win. Nobody gives 2 ****s about what color a guys skin is. Thats 1930s nonsense.
Im sure there are plenty of racist scumbags still around, especially in the deep south, who worry about that stuff, but I dont buy it that an NFL GM would not draft a QB because he is black. Hell, black QBs have been drafted left and right lately. Newton went first overall and Bob Griffin went 2nd overall. So black players are getting opportunities. I just cant answer why most black QBs ****ing blow in the NFL.

Now if you want to tell me that not long ago black coaches didnt get a fair shake at HC positions, I will buy that. Thats why the Rooney rule was put in and for a while it was a good thing. But, I dont see anywhere now that a black man wouldnt get a HC spot over a white guy just because of their color. That Rooney rule can be taken out. Its still an issue in college football I think, especially in the south. College football is based on ignorance and hate btw. So it goes with the territory. College football blows.
