Rich Eisen on "ELITE" Tua.....

I dont see it.

Just kidding guys. Don't lose a titty. He definitely looks elite to me but opinions arent fact. You know what is fact though? The elite stats he is putting up, those are undeniable. Tua is the real deal. The only thing that can hamper him now are injuries. The best part is that he seems to still be getting better.

When I see segments like this one, I just wish I was in the same room to shout down whomever Eisen’s cohort is diminishing Tua due to surrounding talent.

Nope, you don’t get it both ways dude. You weren’t defending Tua when he wasn’t surrounded with great talent. Nor were you dismissing Herbert or Burrow because of the great talent that surrounds them.

But you’re gonna use that argument against Tua now? Bushleague.

Furthermore, if you really wanna play the game of “give those weapons to another QB and the production would be just as good or better” — then let’s play it out across the board.

I never hear all these Tom Brady or Joe Montana is GOAT lobbyists entertain the idea that Dan Marino, Dan Fouts, John Elway, etc, could or would have done more with the same talent.

I mean, seriously, how titles could Dan Marino have won playing with Jerry Rice, Ronnie Lott, etc, and for Bill Walsh?? Or for Bill Belicheat and all the awesome defenses they had and the best clutch FG kicker of the modern era? Or the year the Cheatriots had Randy Moss, Wes Welker and Donte Stallworth??

Nope. All they do is pick on Marino for not winning a SB with subpar defenses, no running game, and nowhere near all time great offensive weapons.

Same goes for Tua. He plays with subpar offensive talent and a sometimes good defense and for a coaching staff that seemingly hated him —- and somehow it’s all his fault.

But the moment he gets a capable coach that believes in him that then adds in the talent those others QB’s already had — now suddenly Tua doesn’t get any of the same credit???

Good, great, grand, wonderful.

All that attitude tells me is that person knows nothing about which they speak.

Rich has always given Tua a fair shake. Honestly, he and McAfee are the only two I listen to. Well, I still listen to Rome occasionally.
