Not sure what he expected was going to be done on an interim basis (which hardly ever works out in the end anyway).

No one fires a coach after the 4th game of the season except the Raiders......we are the new Raiders, Cleveland and Washington fans are laughing at us....

Most former players turned coach were not star players. Most star players who went on to coach were not very good coaches.
