Richard Marshall is a excellent pick up for our secondary

also remember Sean Smith will be a Free Agent in 2013 so Marshall could make him expendable in terms of resigning and likely long terms big $ deal Smith will think he deserves, also wouldnt be surprised if Smith picks up his play with $ on the line and Marshall pushing him

Miami is looking at making Jimmy Smith at free safety, keeping Sean Smith to nickel, and making Marshall our #2 CB.

Marshall was the 4th ranked CB in contested passes. The guy just doesn't let passes get through. He quietly was the best CB in Arizona. In terms of CB, Vontae Davis is above Patrick Peterson in coverage. I feel really, really good having him here.

It would be great to see the secondary improved at CB or S. Marshall's salary seems to imply he will start at one of either position. Now all we need is a Pass rusher.

I think pick 8 will be one of 4 choices: Tannehill, INgram, One of the top 6 players if they fall, or Trade down.

I would be happy with any of the choices as long as we draft a QB in the first 3 rounds.

Couple of things here.

First, the HC for Arizona said he wanted to get Marshall back and is sad to see him go.
Second, last year we picked up this guy named Mitchell from NO. Very under the radar pickup who ended up making plays for us and I see him making more this year in this defense.

I see Marshall in much the same light. He took Will Allen's spot. Youth movement continues. We are a very very young team but with some experience now.

Marvin Mitchell was signed to a one year contract last year and currently is an unrestricted FA. Kinda of surprised he wasn't resigned to a small 1-2 yr deal.

He sounds like a nice addition to the team. Apparently some players want to play for Miami after all.

Well players that didnt even start a full season for thier former clubs but no one of any significance signed with us this off season
