Well, he sure doesn't drop the ball too often and found open space 11 times at least. I think he played so well that all of a sudden Hartline and Wallace were open again.
When Reggie Wayne got hurt, I was saying we could afford to trade him one of our guys because of how well Matthews was playing. Then Gibson got hurt and now Matthews has replaced him extremely well.
Sadly, though, he's not a 'big play' WR. We only have one 'deep threat' and he's not able to make the big plays for a number of reasons. Wallace is a great decoy, though. It's like Revis was on Wallace island and other guys were making plays. Clay was way too quiet tonight.
