Richie Incognito suspended

OH! That's what that non sense rant in that other thread was about.... Hopefully they find no evidence and he doesn't miss any time.
 
This was predictable. Too much smoke for it to simply go away.
However deserved/undeserved someone was going to have to take the fall for this and Incognito was the most likely culprit.
 
Another year where I got nothing to look forward to but the draft.

are u serious? we cant have this dude at practice, he is a distraction and a liability at this point.
 
The interesting part of this development to me is that the Dolphins welcomed and initiated this investigation by the league. Then they suspended Incogito because of the investigation.

So basically it seems like they found a back door way to suspend Incognito and -- at least in their hopes -- not alienate the locker room.

There's been a distinct change in the team's stance relative to this whole situation over the last few days. Hell, since this morning. The might have thought Martin wasn't going to do anything but when he decided to file for a grievance it necessitated a drastic change in course. I wonder whether Ross or Garfinkle had avoided getting involved but decided after this morning that they had to take a more active role.
 
Oh man, this decision is probably going to divide the locker room. What a mess.
