So...what? Your suggesting we should just ignore it and look the other way?

The Dolphins arent Penn State, im glad the franchise is dropping the hammer on Incognito. You know, unless its true they've known about this for awhile. Then they are Penn State Light, and i hope the regime is gutted.

If Martin went into his office and played the voice mails or showed him those txt's and Philbin didn't do something about it then I agree. However because of the players union I'm sure there is a process they have to go through to get rid of someone who allegedly acted like Cog did.

In today's PC world the process has a process.

However if Martin simply went in there and said Cog was doing what he is accused of without offering proof, no I can't blame Philbin.
 
Multiple beat writers now saying the official designation of Incognito's suspension is "conduct detrimental." Meanwhile Schefter is still polishing the wording on his apology for slandering Richie.

This is nothing like Penn state. There were kids involved there which is the worst of the worst.

This is more along the lines of bounty gate with the saints.

Our OL has been a disaster both on the field and off the field this season. Unbelievable.
 
This is total BS!!!! What happened to, "Innocent until proven guilty???"

This is one more thing that is making me lose my faith in the NFL. It's bad enough that teams like the Patriots get away with cheating, but you also have refs screwing us over, horrible rule changes that are turning the NFL into a pansy league, and now the NFL forces the Dolphins to take politically correct actions to suspend a player, even though it is all hearsay as to what Incognito and the team did to Martin.

Phuck the NFL and Goodell.

Absolutely agree, Penn State was a horrific chapter of history and everyone involved deserves to burn.

Still, when people suggest massive corruption and the covering up of said corruption, Penn State can come to mind. Kind of like the Holocaust springs to mind if the word "genocide" is mentioned. Horrifying events come to mind when even vague definitions are brought up.
Of course, despite that, some will find it perfectly acceptable to give the benefit of the doubt to the thing they are emotionally tied to. Some defended Penn State despite the litany of evidence, some on here were just defending Incognito and making an active effort to discredit the media.
