Richie Incognito suspended

I go away for the weekend and what I assumed was simple locker room shaninigans is actually much worse...sad thing is this doesn't surprise me....not the Incognito story per se, but the fact that the dolphins franchise looks like a complete mess under the guise of Ireland....

Oh well...at least the case to clean house at the end of the season is much stronger...

These kinds of workplace situations are rarely over just one incident. It's much more likely that whatever happened in the cafeteria was the last straw rather than the sole cause. Also, as we're getting a clearer picture of what was going on, I suspect it wasn't the pranking that caused Martin to walk away, but rather the racism. Just my guess; we'll have to wait and see.
 
I am calling BS on this. I can't believe Cogs is a racist and made any kind of comments of that kind. We saw a guy rip his helmet off and swing it at him in a game and he acted very cool about it. I think most of us would have lit that guy up. Anyone that has played football knows that if you are being a ***** or not pulling your weight you will be called out by your teammates. Happens in every place football is played on every level. I think Cogs is a bad ass and is one of the true warriors on this team who would go to war for any of his teammates. I also think he would not have been so adamant on twitter if he thought he really did anything wrong. And I still am unsure what it was. Being mean to Martin? Is that what this is about? Really, you have got to be schiiting me if that is what this about. Being mean in football. Who would guess that.

For the normal person, yes. Not sure that this franchise operates as normal though.

I think it's more likely that he's a borderline psychopath and Jon Martin just happens to be black.

I think if Cogs were a raving racist, it would have come out by now. This guy is not exactly known for his great impulse control.

I'm not even defending him, for what it's worth. I don't really think it's any better to be an ******* borderline psycho than it is to be an ******* borderline psycho who is also racist. I'm just saying.
 
Incognito has done some pretty stupid things going back to his days at U of Nebraska. This is nothing new for him. The guy is not all there mentally.

Damage control needs to be done NOW. Legal covering of asses needs to be done NOW. A huge distraction needs to be at home and not in the locker room tomorrow.

Martin is looking for a settlement. Unless Martin showed someone with the Dolphins the evidence (voice mail and txt's) I don't see where Philbin or Ireland did anything wrong.

Reported what, that Cog was leaving threatening voice mail and txt messages?

It's one thing to say Cog is threatening me, and it's another to go to Philbin and show him the evidence that was in fact occurring.

I hope not, and that's very doubtful, as far as him playing for the Dolphins again.
 
I just can not believe how bad the franchise drafts.... its become comical ha ha....haaaa :(
 
We won without BOTH of them last week so i don't really know if this might be a negative.

Good point, forgot Incog went out. That reminds me, don't players generally come back into the game pretty quickly after a neck stinger?
