I am truly amazed at how many people are bashing Martin on this. In my view, he has EVERY RIGHT to do what's he's doing and shouldn't tolerate any sort of workplace threats or abuse...doesn't matter if it's the NFL or your average office job! The guy has been putting up with this crap since his rookie season and it's still going on, yet he's just supposed to "get over it?" I think it's real easy for a lot of you to say this when it's not happening to you, but the comments that Martin's a baby or needs to find a new career are just idiotic. We don't even know the whole story and people are jumping all over the guy.

Some of you mentioned the supposed "rituals, traditions, brotherhood, etc."...well that's a bunch of BS. It's one thing to bust balls and play pranks...it's another thing to coerce or intimidate. Martin isn't bitter...he feels THREATENED. I think most of you guys are saying these things b/c Martin's been a disappointment...I'm guessing that if he was actually a good player, you all would be supporting him. I don't think losing Martin is a big loss on the playing field except that it exposes Miami's pathetic lack of depth on the OL. But if these accusations are true as this investigation unfolds (and I'm sure we'll hear more later), I say good riddance to Incognito. I'm guessing he's probably already played his last game for Miami.

People assume because he plays football and is big and tall he can't feel threatened.

If the rumors are true Incognito is bullying, harrasing, and threating Martin. Period.

This would get you fired, sewed and possibly arrested at any our jobs. Why is it any different in the NFL?

Please don't give me this whole...brotherhood and locker room un-written rules junk. Cold tub pranks and shaving cream etc...ok. But to drop a $30K bill on a dude because he's new to the team?

I still stand by my initial thoughts that I peronsally belive Martin is gay and is being bashed by teammates for so.
 
If everything they're saying about Incognito is true, he'll probably never play in the NFL again. I mean he already was on his third strike anyway.

There are rumors Martin was "bullying/teasing" Josh Samuda. Sounds to me like the guy can dish it, but can't take it.

I don't know the number of times I've been called something or picked on or talked about in my professional life. But to me Martin has a larger issue at hand, and now Incognito is his cop out.

I hope Martin never plays another down for the Dolphins. Because if he things the trash talked about by guys on the same team is going to be hurtful, just wait will he hits the field, and opposing players talk trash to him there.

I beginning to feel like Martin is pursuing some personal vendetta. Both parents being attorneys, his father writing book on juvinile crime (bullying included), and all the stories coming out of how Martin could dish it with the best of them are leading me to believe this isn't just about Martin "getting help." Why not pick out Cog, a notorious bad guy, to blame when you know good an well your career is sliding fast. Better payday in court than on the field.
 
The man shouldn't be allowed to breathe let alone play another professional football game. Nothing but a fat, racist urchin that likely came from a family of war prisoners given their surname. I just wish someone would have flattened Michelin-man's face instead of simply booting him from the team.
 
Its funny all of you who were calling Martin a fool and punk two days ago are now siding with him. The fact of these messages sent to him by Incognito would have gotten him fired in any job, period. No man needs to endure that kind of treatment. I would walk out too. thats ridiculous
