This might be a good time for Richie Incognito to stay quiet, even if his suspension has been lifted. The public opinion on the Dolphins offensive lineman changed earlier this week when over 1000 text messages between him Jonathan Martin were released, and showed a much different picture of Incognito. He certainly didn’t appear to be the bully, that Martin accused him of. But now he is tweeting with a fake twitter account for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles. The topic? Hazing soon-to-be second year quarterback Matt Barkley:

Barkley is renowned for having an incredible ego. He has an extremely high opinion of himself (remember he saw himself as the #1 player in last year's draft) and this seems to attract a lot of attention. However, after Foles' outstanding success as a rookie, Matt Barkley faces the reality of being just his backup. This could all be fake but maybe Foles enjoyed Richie's jovial toilet humor and Barkley is an excellent target.

Can't we formally come out and say we are not re-signing him. I am getting so sick of hearing about him and his stupidity.

he does not know Nick Foles..... Its a fake account like you said fake.... smh

Wow, you can blast Incognito for a lot of ****, but this one is ridiculous. Total non story.

ITS A JOKE! Did you not read "jkjk" at the end? That means "just kidding".

Does EVERYTHING need to be turned into a story these days?

That's a complete assumption by the guy to say it's Incognito doing that. It can be anybody. Christ.

In the world of the NFL it is slow news time and any headline that has Richie's name in it is going to garner attention, so writers will grasp at anything to get those extra views even if it is meaningless journalism (and I'm using that word in the loosest of definitions).

That had me scratching my head too. How can anyone come to the conclusion that Richie created the fake account? And then write an article with the premise that this is a fact?

And how exactly was it determined that this is a fake account created by RI?

No, I think you read the article wrong. The real Richie responded to a Fake Foles account via Direct Message on twitter. He didn't create the fake account, he just responded to it. But his response was an obvious joke. Not worthy of an article/thread.

I suppose that is possible, but the title "Richie Incognito tweets with a fake account about hazing" kind of implies he tweeted using a fake account. Maybe if it said he responded to a fake account if would be more clear. In any event, it really is a non-story...certainly not article worthy.
