I ran after my 3 year old... so I missed a few plays.

In the shade, my car said 84 degrees. I think my car was lying... it was very hot today... maybe 94 at high-noon in the the June-florida-sun.
**********
O-line: No contact between the o-line and d-line until the last 10 minutes of practice(2-minute drills).

I saw Zero Interceptions(Blitz saw 1 Trent Green int).

Eckel/Mauia/Chatman/Cobbs/Perkins were not impressive. Didn't see Lorenzo Booker. Not real important with no contact, though.

Hagan started out great; he looks smooth(like Chambers). He dropped one in very-tight-coverage(may have been tipped). Then he dropped another. I figure he was 3 for 5?

Chambers looked good... caught a TD in the corner of the endzone.

Ginn fielded a punt return and took it to the house. He is showing Zero-Limp... and running the same speed as the other receivers. Maybe with more practice his speed will pick up another 10% speed.... so I'll call him 90% healthy.

Campbell looked good on one play.

Hakim had a drop in tight coverage... it seemed like he wasn't fast enough to get open.

Peele looked good on a couple passes. Lemon looked ok.

Solai is enormous; I see him winning a starting spot.

I keep hearing that Derek Hagan is having an excellent mini camp. Is there any chance that he could unseat Marty Booker for a starting job on opening day?

Was your 3-year old trying to show the players how to get it done?

Anyways, thanks for the report. It's always good to read a different perspective on these mini-camp/practices.

ya, your car was lying...my therm. went from 94 to 95 at about 1 pm lol thanks for the writeup, sad to hear what you wrote about mauia, i didn't really know too much about him but when i saw him yesterday i did a little research. i liked what i saw. glad to hear what you wrote about ginn and chambers as well.

Mauia was on the field... I got to see him run...
with "no conact"... he had no blocks to showcase himself. He also had no runs with the football.

I was expecting to see this massive Juggernaut(my first practice)(high expectations)... and I saw a short guy, who wasn't that large, who wasn't particularly fast. With full-contact... maybe he turns into a bowling-ball, and a force to be reckoned with... this camp was not particularly good for showcasing his ability.

When the pads come on, it will be easier to evaluate him.

gotcha

Lemon looked ok; while Green threw safe passes. Cam really knows how to win the fans.

He looks good, yes. But to answer your question, doubtful. Cam discusses Derek in his PC this afternoon. You can watch it on the Dolphins website.

ive been to a few camps i think he ctaches the ball the best out of the three fbs........and i think Hagan and J Allen are having great camps both have looked awsome form the few camps ive been to

is ginn playng as fast as does videos on youtube?, since i live in mexico i cant see it for myself

Ginn is healing up nicely and looks as good as advertised. Hes clearly the fastest player on this team, with kelly campbell being a not so distant second.

Good to hear Ginn is apparently healing nicely. Hopefully he can be effective right away.

thanks for the report. wish i could make these things
