First, if Minn had taken Brady instead of Peterson the Phins would've been better able to move down and still get Ginn and more picks to boot. I think this is the scenario that they really wanted because Ginn is who they really wanted.

Secondly, if Minn had taken Brady, not getting him for that reason would be a easier pill to swallow than having him there for the taking but passing him up for a injured kick returner (possible 3rd wide receiver). Now for about the next 3 years (Until everything plays out) all Dolphans will be haunted by the 'What if' question. Also most of us have lost some confidence in our coach and GM.

Thanks alot Spielman

Bottom line is we could of had Brady Quinn and Dewayne Jarret bit instead we have Ted Ginn im a bumb and John the 26 year old rookie quarterback. WTF.

What does this have to do w/ SPielman? Minnesota was never even looking at Quinn. They traded up for a qb last year. You could say the same thing about any of the 8 teams that picked ahead of us (less the raiders who did take a qb.) Cleveland was the only other team legitmately considering him.

He didn't **** us over. He gifted us a QB in an apologetic manner for the years of terrible QB play he put us through here in Miami.

I blame Mueller.

Exactly.

Upside is things actually work out and we become decent or we have another crap year and possibly go after Brohm next draft. Wow, i'm reacing for something psoitive lol

I love it, when this place is happy with a pick things always seem to go wrong. So, with this place angry, I'm certain the Dolphins front office made the right picks.

Plus, Trent Green will be cut now, if not K.C. gets 6th! Which is what Miami offered all along.

so want the 2 guys that had all the hype but were over rated and slipped. Thank God you are not in charge.

that's who i wanted....quinn and jarret, man did we f up!!

so you wanted an inaccurate qb who becomes even more so under pressure and a receiver who fits where into our scheme again? We now have a smart ,very efficient, and accurate qb with the maturity that comes with his age and when that money comes at you that is a very big thing. Won't be any pressure on him because he is a 2nd rounder and from what I can read on this board people expect him to fail anyway. And ginn, welcome to our reggie bush. when was the last time you could watch someone on the dolphins come on the field and think that at any moment we could score, at any moment. he gives us that, put him deep and teams will have to respect his deep ball speed and that gives chambers the slot where he should be in the first place and where he put up pro bowl numbers. Look for a lot of trick plays involving ginn this year.

NICE DRAFT SO FAR CAM AND RANDY. just wish you would have gotten moss for the 4th, but oh well i guess.

You say the 2 guys were overrated. I say that almost everyone who we all have been listening to since the combine didn't think those guys were so overrated. Just because we didn't pick them doesn't mean they were overrated or that they will be a bust. All of a sudden alot of fans are so happy with what we got. A PK/ 3rd reciever who says he is 80-85% fit. and Muller says he is 75-80% fit. A QB who very few fans even talked about now is the franchise QB of the future for the Miami Dolphins. If i remembe right didn't Tom Brady slip to the 6th round. Didn't Zack Thomas slip to the 5th round. Jason Taylor I think (SLIPPED) to the 3rd round. ect. ect. So slipping isn't always a bad thing.

What does our draft have to do with Speilman? Did he phone the NFL Commish pretending to be Mueller and maliciously tell him what our 1st round pick is (which would explain a lot)?

yeah everyone wanted the big names they've heard about on ESPN nonstop.... get over it and learn about the guys who are dolphins... Quinn is just a guy from ND who's name is Brady and he looks like some dude on a magazine cover.... Beck is some guy who played for a midwestern school.
If i was a little kid i'd pick Brady for those reasons too.

One's best assets are Work Ethic and muscles, Our's best assets are Pure passing and Field awareness.

If your that good, your taken in the top 10 regardless, or shortly after.... you think Rivers or Lienart would have slid way to # 22 ? Just "because no one else needed a QB" after #1 or 3 ????
