and probably MikeO.

And me.

I don't know how anyone can forgive Wicky for what he did. That kind of forginess implies that someone trusts that person again. If anyone trusts this idiot they deserve what they are going to get when Wicky fails a drug test or decides India is calling him again.

Forgiveness implies trust to me.

Not true, I picked wait and see. Basically if he apologised to the fans, sincere or no, that is a huge step towards taking responibility for his actions of last year. He hadn't even faked an apology to the fans up to this point. Now I stiil don't trust him, and he's my least favorite Dolphin, but those of you who want him back can have him and I won't begrudge ya.

I might be able to forgive, but I'll never forget.
Agree

What he did to this football team last season is as close to an unpardonable sin as anything can be.
RW would not have saved Miami last year. Last year was doomed based on two decisions, at the start of Jan when Wayne brought Wanny back & in Mar when Speilman decided to bring Fiedler back.

Also you add to the fact they did not provide a backup to RW proved how poorly the team was built. They made RW the focal point of the O, & then backed him up with a change of pace back.

The idea of him quitting on this football team will always be in my mind when I see him. I will always wonder when he will do it again. You can't change a zebra's stripes, and Ricky showed himself as a quitter last year.
IMO RW took that hard way out last year. By walking away as he did, he opened himself up to hatered from fans. The easy way out would have been for him to simply fail another drug test.

While some may not agree I do respect RW for walking away instead of simply failing another test.

Forgive him, why? Because he regurgitated an apology to the media he didn't write? No.
No one who speaks to the media these days writes their own speechs.

Basically the guy has done everything he possibly could. Worked and gotten into shape, made peace with his teammates, and apologized to everyone.

How do you feel?

I feel its necessary to have him on the team until he builds enough value to trade. The sooner that day comes the better.

I can forgive RW a whole lot easier then I can forgive someone like Leonard Little.

RW did not harm anyone other than a some fans egos. Its football & I'd rather RW take a year off to figure somethings then go off the deep end & do something horrible.

I disagree.

Forgiveness implies I'm willing to allow you the chance to redeem yourself for what you did.

Does that mean I should forgive him because of that?
Nope, but he without sin cast the first stone.

I'm sure someone has forgiven you for something you did in life.
