It's nice that he apologized, but I want to see him get it done on the field again. He has to produce for me to totally forgive what he did.

For me he doesn't even have to produce on the field. What he has to do is show he is commited to being a team player and do what is asked through the life of his contract. If he can do that AND produce, then all the better.

I just want him to own up to the contract that he and his agent agreed to. If he continues to play after that, then that sells me even more that he is a changed man.

EDIT: In other words, my mind won't be made up on him for another 2 years, if he makes it that long. That's why I voted, wait and see. I discounted the rest of that option. I am on the wait and see if he can fullfil his obligations, period.

I also voted wait and see, and I don't think Ricky will be here for 2 more years- this year is it for him as a Dolphin. Saban knows what he's doing- a trade will be coming in the offseason if Ricky proves he can still play at or close to the level he was on when he quit and demonstrates he's committed to football again. If he doesn't, he'll be cut. Simple as that.

the 20 people that say they can't wait for him to leave, their attitude will change when ricky busts out for a td/big yardage gain come week 6.

Nope, won't happen and I don't know why it's so hard to believe that some people just won't be able to root for Ricky ever again. I'll be happy that the Fins scored a TD and I'll be happy that Ricky is raising his value for a trade next offseason and that's it. Ricky could run for 2000 yards this year and I still want to see him traded. He will melt down again, just a matter of time.

I forgive him but for what he did to us, thatapology was pretty weak. He didn't even apologize per say...he just said he felt regretful that he had shafted the fans.
