Dolphins | Williams being considered for unusual advertisements
Sun, 12 Feb 2006 06:33:08 -0800
Barry Jackson, of the Miami Herald, reports Miami Dolphins RB Ricky Williams is mulling two unusual offers for advertisements: (1) People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants him to become a national spokesman after hearing him say he never eats anything ''with a face.'' (2) Las Vegas asked him to star in one of those ''what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas'' ads.

Accept them Ricky, have some fun! :D Make some dough! Send it to me!

Well he is a strange individual........

They should do "What happens in Australia stays in Australia."

I could see him doing the animal one, but I can't see the Vegas one at all.

That is true. I, myself, applaud him for not eating animals. It takes alot of constitution in your beliefs to be able to give up meat.

Boy, I hope he doesn't go back to where he was posing in a wedding dress with Ditka! Let's hope he's learned enough not to let himself be used and humiliated for a buck or to try to please people. I think those types of things are what drove him towards less and less stable behavior until he finally fled to a tent to escape. The PETA thing I could see if it's something he truly backs, but the Vegas thing sounds like a train wreck waiting to happen.

it would have been hard to put on that much muscle in that short of a time on veggies as the protein you can get from a veggie diet isn't nearly as quality as from meats. he must take a TON of protein shakes and whatnot as it would also be hard to carry that much muscle without getting quality protein from somewhere with the kinds of physical stress that is put on his body without it cannibalizing the muscle.

How are either one of those "unusual"?
