Ricky could've been on Benson's boat!

We picked up the 1 year option on Ricky's contract. That was Bill and Jeffs first action as Dolphins VP and GM as a matter of fact.:up:
 
About the article......mighta been more than just alcohol charges had Ricky been there maybe that's what he means by "it would've gone differently"
 
Ricky takes more drug tests than anyone in the league. The cheap shots are unwarrented and ignorant cosidering he got the professional treatment that the league , Saints , nor Dolphins would give him before turning to weed.
 
hey hey hey just havn fun here i mean who wouldnt wanna travel all over the world and smoke weed the rest of their life I give props to ricky for doing what he wanted to do regardless of what the world thought. Only part I didnt agree with is that he didnt honor his commitment to the Dophins FIRST.

I won't debate how you should feel about him retiring but I will say I blame the FO we had at the time and the NFL more than him. It's all good though as long as he produces this year IMO.:up:

Good, Bad, Ugly honor your commitment. You're a grown man who signed an agreement fully aware of the terms, conditions, and consequences. I'm tired of Players and college coaches who think a contract is like play dough.
 
Just wondering.....is there anyone that believes Benson????? Or all his white girl witnesses

The only thing is we were killing Ricky and literally taking years from his life. Part of his decision was due to his meeting with Earl Cambell that offseason. Ricky had just broke the NFL record for most carries ever by any NFL HB in NFL history and we never tried to get a QB, HB, or WR to help share the offensesive burden Ricky was forced to carry. It was like run Ricky against 8-9 man fronts 3 times and punt or keep running him till we score or punt. I hold no grudge against a player that actually does act on their behalf in life shortning situations especially considering the vets that paved the way can't get mediacle help from the league they sacrificed themselves to build without taking it to congress.

I remember when Ricky first signed with us the cops were harassing him and even tried to arrest him for loitering around his own house and the Phins FO actually had to have a meeting with the police to see why they were harassing him. I beleive most cops are kids that were icked on ion school or had bad child hoods hiding behing guns and badges and target more successfull people. Not all of them but the majority.
