Ricky feels terrible after win

I can understand it. He never did like being in the spotlight and now he is there again. I like that he feels like he doesn't have to pull that Macho Joey Porter crap. Ricky is one of my favorite all time Dolphin players.

This is why I've been saying to people that have been saying over and over that "Ronnie is gone" .."We don't need to resign everyone's precious Ronnie with Ricky starting now"
that they are so WRONG. Ricky is obviously not happy with Ronnie gone, and I really do believe he will retire in the offseason if Ronnie isn't resigned (pending the CBA situation).

That would really suck, but can't say I would be surprised. He's basically said it himself.

That said, we have to be one of the most selfless teams in the NFL, I love it.

Ricky is a great person, who had to overcome a seriuos illness to be back and play for the Dolphins..

I respect Ricky he is a great human being and a hell of a player.

Without Ronnie, Ricky retires IMO. However, after reading that article, I'm more worried about these next few days off for him.

Lets hope he feels terrible every week then......

"I felt so angry,'' he said. "I can't even explain it."

I hope he plays "angry" every week.

Lets hope he doesn't have a relapse. The key is to try and keep Ricky out of the spotlight as much as possible. Let the other players talk to the media and such.

Ricky is unique...and there is nothing wrong with that.

Ricky is a human being... his best friend is out for the year, and he's been thrust back into a role he doesn't really enjoy. I totally understand why Ricky had such a lousy week, and I totally understand where he's coming from. Remember folks- while we all love the Dolphins and NFL football- for these guys, it's their job. It's work. Sometimes you have good weeks at work, sometimes you have bad weeks at work.

LOL, sure- I would too. But I'm just saying that regardless of the glamor or the big paycheck, at the end of the day, football is what these guys do for a living. And, just like any other working Americans, a week at work can suck, even if you've helped the company achieve success that particular week. ;)

Yea Ricky hates the spotlight seems ironic since he was a heisman winner and a top 5 pick in the draft and he was the number one back for several years for the Phins, but in the past he cracked under pressure, He used to get 300 something carries a year he was banged up. I hope this yoga thing he does works for him to relax and keep his cool under the spotlight again.
