Williams capped a stellar 13-play, 95-yard drive early in the fourth by taking the handoff, beating a Calgary defender around the end, then going airborne for the final three yards to score. However, Williams limped off the field on Toronto's next offensive series. Three plays later, Allen left going down hard on his left hand.
Allen broke the middle finger on his left hand in Toronto's season opener and missed five of the next six starts. He returned on Toronto's next offensive series, but Williams didn't.

So why is that "surprise surprise"? He took the #1 absolute most handoffs in the league for 2 years straight, without missing a single game. He did it for Miami behind their crappy O-Line.... Surprise surprise he's more durable than you think.

Good, the less wear and tear in the CFL the better. He will be a young 30 next year, due to his minimal playing time over the past 3 seasons. Even though the boards will be flooded with trade Ricky threads next offseason the fact will remain that Ricky Williams will have no trade value and probably end up in Miami next season assuming he can stay out of trouble. Him being injured while he's passing time in the CFL is good news in my eyes.

they may be just taking precautionaries because of whats already happend. If he's hurt badly that would suck...but I'm thinkin its something minimal and kept him out of the game to be safe.

oh bullcrap

imo ronnie brown is a good football player but ricky is still a better football player than ronnie is (as of right now) but give it time and we shall see what brown is made of but as of now ricky is the better back :dolphins: no question

im sure its nothing too serious that will effect his status when he is eligable for the nfl

Surprise, Surprise?
Are you crazy? The guy has never been known to be injury prone, he had only one season-ending injury and it was with New Orleans. You make it sound like he's Mr. Glass or something.

i don't want ricky back on this team
he's a distraction

Maybe distracting the defense as they are chasing him Say waht you want about Ricky but when he is eligible he comes to play every game, unlike some of the players on our team currently.

Gash in his achilles Tendon?

From a freakin door?

Geez, either sand down all jagged edges, remove all potential hazards from around heavily traveled walkways, and hang all doors with commercially approved hardware, otherwise just hang beads!

He's on LEASE!
