first of all i'm not bashing ronnie, i still think he is a good pounder and back, but i could tell ricky looks quicker, and i think the coaching staff is leaning to ricky more, he get the corner quicker and is faster ,............... he look really good out there!!!!!!!!!!!
 
While you can use the excuse that Ricky hasn't played in the NFL for a bit, I still say Ronnie is still not really back to his full form yet, that knee injury still affects him a lot I bet, even if he doesen't feel it

Please, can we leave this talk to the off season. They both played an integral part in the success this team has had this season. Lets just be grateful we have an abundance of quality backs (don't forget Cobbs).
 
I hate these threads, this topic has been beaten to death this entire year. Ronnie makes plays when they count, and has done it all year long. Lets ignore the fact that he is coming of a serious injury and managed 918 yards all while splitting the load with Ricky W. Not to mention how good he is as a receiver.
 
Relax, all i said was that ricky look's like he's in old from again, people should be happy we have such a good backfield,
 
Ricky is a ****ing animal out there. He looks every bit as good as he was during Sabans first season.
 
As evidence for Ronnie being better, I will point to the fact that:

1.) he has a higher Yards Per Carry
2.) He has more total rushing yards
3.) He has more receptions
4.) He has a higher Yards Per Reception
5.) He has more touchdowns.
6.) Has fumbled once compared to 5 times by Ricky

I think that Ricky is a great player to have on the team I just think that Ronnie the better runningback which is why he gets more carries.

If you all you wanted to say is that Ricky looks like he's in old form again, you could have said it with a different thread title.
 
if you believe that then you need to open your eyes.... everyone knows ronnie is better at this point in his career than ricky williams. better pass blocker, better power, better agility, better big play potential... better

Agreed sorta.

That drop cost the Dolphins, and he seems to not have that Bulldozing enragement that Ronnie has. He seems to go down quickly.

However, Williams vision is second to none. His vision is amazing and the creases he finds and cuts he makes.
