Honestly, Ronnie by a long shot. Ronnie came after a season of hardship change, difference, dispair, confusion, anger...and we waited for so long...FINALLY we nabbed him...it had to feel so damn good.
You can't discount the baggage...its part of who Ricky is.
Right now if the league said Ricky was cleared to play with no suspension and no mandatory substance abuse program, and I had to choose either Williams or Brown to be on my team, it would take me about a tenth of a second to choose Brown. Ricky just isnt reliable, and he stands a far greater likelyhood of not being able to play when we need him, be it due to suspension or just because he wants to find the "truth"
I think what Losman7 means is when they ORIGINALLY came to the team, who made us more excited. And I'd have to say Ricky Williams did. All I was thinking was "we FINALLY got our running back!"
But obviously, if we're talking about the 2005 season, I'm far more excited about Ronnie Brown.
Sorry to break the trend, but Ricky is far better than Ronnie, and if he comes back whether we keep him or trade him he will prove it again. So I definitley say Ricky now, and I was more excited when he joined the team too!!:)
Ronnie, or Ronnie and Ricky, or Ronnie and trade Ricky. There will be no trade value in Ricky unless he comes back and acts like a team player for a year. Ricky and the Fins will have to cooperate and be patient in order to get the most out of a bad situation.
