Ricky ought to have your support.

You agree? Ricky retired on us when he did one week before training camp, not in February. It's still the offseason. We'll see what happens. I want him back for one reason - to trade him, so I hope that he is exonerated of the charges.

Nice article...

This is the part I like the most:

Even if he is found guilty, I will still support Ricky Williams. He may be forced to take a year off because of his personal life, but he didn’t retire. Why should I hold contempt towards a man because of his personal weaknesses? Who is Ricky Williams really harming beside himself? At least this situation isn’t occurring a few days into training camp. To top it off, we have a young running back that may be productive with this franchise for many years to come.

I agree. RW is the man. I love the guy. I hope we don't trade him. I want him to be a Dolphin. Saban thinks very highly of him as well.
I think it's time people move on a stop with the the "Ricky screwed us....he quit on us.. blah blah blah." (I don't think RW ever intended to QUIT on the Dolphins. He simply wanted out of the NFL and the incompetence of his then coach made it an easier decision.) Forget about what happened in the past. I swear, if noone ever forgave us for the crap we'd all have done in our lives, we'd all be living in exile.

Yep, Good Stuff. When he is cleared he can help us run into the playoffs. Run Ricky, Run.

hi ricky haters.

in terms of VALUE to our team,
ricky is on our team is greater than ricky being off our team + a draft pick.
the chances that the draft pick will be better than ricky is zero.

why would saban trade 100 bucks for 5 bucks????????????????

Yeah, I agree, and frankly, there is nothing you can do to change my opinion.
At this point, his trade value is ZERO right now, whether his appeal is upheld or not.

I'm not asking you to change your opinion. I'm allowed to disagree as well. I disagree that his trade value is ZERO. How many yards did he rush for in 05?

I really don't agree with the last part of the article, but I agree with the rest of it. People get stuck on last year. Things are different this time. New coach, different attitude, and the reports are he did not test positive for marijuana. Ricky deserves our support until he is found guilty. If that even happens.

Hey, I agree to disagree with you.

Before the suspension, yeah, he probably could have fetched a 3rd/4th.

But some teams are going to be a bit more timid now.

When your bitten by a shark, and you live, your not exactly going to jump right back in without a little hesitation.

didn't i read this morning that his appeal will almost certainly be upheld because what he tested for was an herb supplement, part of his yoga thing??? and won't all of you who bashed him feel at least a little sheepish?

I agree...
And if some how this drug thing keeps Ricky a Dolphin I'll be happy. I'd love for Ricky to prove that he is the MAN in Miami for atleast 1 more year. We are a better team w/him on the field.
