I know his tenure hasn't been continuous, but it's hard to imagine that Ricky's history with the Dolphins goes back the furthest of anyone on the current roster.

yes. next in line would be Yeremiah Bell, who was drafted in '03 (although he didn't play a game until '04)

But what about games played? Who on our current roster has played the most games as a Phin? It was a bit of a surprise for me....especially who was #2 on the list:

1. Vernon Carey - 62 games (since '04)
2. John Denney - 48 games (since '05)
3. Yeremiah Bell - 46 games (since '03)
T-4. Ricky Williams - 45 games (since '02)
T-4. Matt Roth - 45 games (since '05)
T-6. Vonnie Holliday - 44 games (since '05)
T-6. Travis Daniels - 44 games (since '05)
8. Channing Crowder - 43 games (since '05)
9. Ronnie Brown - 35 games (since '05)

No other players have been with the team longer than 2 years (max 32 games)

sad note - Jim Bates ended the '04 season as our Head Coach. Only 2 players remain on the roster who played for Bates: Bell and Carey. Neither of them started a game for him.

When you consider Ricky's age and Bell's injury history, it might not be long for all of Wannstedt's guys to be gone (Vernon Carey was drafted by Spielman).
