ricky quiting a good thing?

I was thinking about how ricky quit on us and i am starting to think it was a good thing and here is why.

1.if ricky did not retire jay would still have his job we would have not had to throw the ball as much against tenn, jay showed he could not make the plays

2. with ricky we were to conservitive, we have no choice but to throw now

3. I think we still have o-gun holding out if ricky is still here ill take the cheeper booker over o-gun i am glad we did not overpay for o-gun

4. ricky opened up cap room to lock up chambers for life

bottom line is we might have beaten tenn with ricky but honestly we were not going to the superbowl with feidler no matter if walter payton was are running back ill take feely and gordon/morris over feidler and ricky. in the long run we will be ok screw ricky let him rot in his tent!

No matter what spin you want to put on it, losing an elite game changing player is NEVER a positive thing. :shakeno:

To say Ricky retiring is the only way AJ would have seen the field this year.... you just don't know that and I feel AJ would have taken over the job anyway. Just now, when AJ took over we'd still have an All Pro RB on offense. Yeah, that would be bad. :shakeno:

Uhh, twist it anyway you want to. Losing a star RB is never a good thing.

The thought process is scary isn't it?
