Ricky Raves About Ronnie

wow....if Ronnie is already drawing raves from Ricky, I think we'll be in great shape. I was impressed with what I saw from Ricky against Jacksonville, too (not many carries, but he showed the vision, quickness, and deadly moves i loved watching and defenders hated facing when he played before). Once we get both running backs, and hopefully give our o-line a couple weeks to jell some more, we may end up having an absolutely devastating rushing attack.

Oh Boy!!! The Second half of the season is going to be fun fun fun :D :goof: :). Barring injuries god forbid!!!!

Ricky's take is very refreshing.

All the people who keep insisting that Saban is going to trade him need to be quiet. He's going nowhere and I'm glad :D

I see them lining up together in a split backfield at times as well as Ronnie splitting out to the slot and/or playing Hback and Fullback at other times.

I can't wait till week 5 of our schedule.

Bet no one finds that rickey statement confusing!!! That is awesome! Ricky saying he wants to push harder for the team??? Does that not pump everyone up!!!:rawk::rawk:

I wonder what the guys at ESPN NFL live would say about Ricky's attitude on this?? I wonder how they would find a way to bash him after those two articles!! I say two because on the front page Ricky turns down a reality show and tells them he just wants to play football...sweet sweet words coming from an 1800+ yrd RB!! Anyone think Ricky is turning the corner???

He turned the corner almost a year ago when he quit smoking, started Yoga and lost his suit where he now owes money. Ricky even said after that he was selfish and needed to accept responsibility.

But everyone still doubted with the exception of a few.

So did it just take him getting back on the team and saying something nice to suddenly turn certain people around?

Bah whatever. Fickle fans are fickle fans. Atleast it is nice to know that you are willing to change your mind about someone. That means that some of you are logical and realists.

I'd be happy, but didn't he make some comments about a year ago saying that Minor was just as good as he was and the team would be fine with him at HB?

Granted, we don't think he's smoking pot anymore, and everyone wants to see Brown succeed, but...

I never had a problem with what Ricky did and I've always felt like some fans here where/are to harsh on him. It's his life who are we to judge what he does??? Thats how I feel, always. I was angry when he quit, but I never hated him and I got over it quickly. I blame DW for Ricky leaving, but thats my opinion. I'm glad he's back and I will be a Ricky fan even if he quits again. I love football, I have a huge passion for the sport and the Fins, but it's only a sport it's here to enjoy not hate!! Would anyone that hated Ricky hate their best friend or co-worker if they quit their jobs?? I seriously doubt it.

and you only have to wait till October 16th....:goof:

It brings a tear to the eye. Tampa, to the dismay to most of my buddies, will be the first to feel the wrath. choochoo

It is very nice for Ricky to say these things, but I take Ricky's views on other RBs with a grain of salt because he actually thought at one point that Travis Minor could pick up the slack last year. I don't think that was a reefer haze induced comment, either. I think Ricky has a skewed sense of his own talent and of what it takes to be a great RB.
