I don't know why everyone was making such a big deal about Ricky's weight. 220 pounds is not all that far away from 195 pounds, and I don't see the big deal with Ricky playing at 220 pounds instead of 235 to 240 pounds.

It's not so much that he can't do it, it's that I'm glad to see he is trying and adding weight.

Especially since he's already up 10 pounds now without really doing anything (that we know of).

BTW, Isn't it a lot easier to gain weight then it is to lose it? That's how I feel anyways.

It is generally harder for these guys to properly gain weight than to lose it, but we're not talking about going from 240 pounds to 300+ pounds. This is a guy whose body remembers being that heavy...get a little myoplex, eat a ton of food, then cut down and this dude will be 225 pounds by the end of July.

Supposedly Ricky lost all that weight fighting an infection recently.

I am 6'1" 205, I was 238 a year and a half ago...I sure could put the weight back on easy. I miss those late night cheeseburgers. Good news about Ricky....just stay off the wacky tabaccy.
