I know how big of a deal the Ricky return is, but how did the QB's do in the morning session, anyone know?

Feeley looked like a leader and Frerotte really struggled according to the PBP.

One thing is for sure.

The talent at the supporting positions is certainly there this year. There will be no excuses for the quarterback position this season if everyone at the skill positions pan out and there are no devastating injuries.

With a receiving core of wide receivers Chris Chambers, David Boston, and Marty Booker, tight end Randy McMichael, fullbacks Heath Evans and Sammy Morris, and tailback Ronnie Brown, the targets for success are there. Plus, this year with Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams, and a healthy Lamar Gordon, the team has a talented core of runners that should provide the type of running game to keep the pressure off the passing game.

The two big questions will be whether or not the line will gell and whether the quarterbacks have what it takes to get the job done.

IMO, the line question will be answered in a positive. I'm not so sure about the quarterback position.

I live in Davie, but was not able to attend todays practices, I will be there tomorrow and i will keep an eye on the QB's. My neighbors and some other friends who were there all said the same thing that was reported by the PBP.
Feeley looked like he was the guy with several years of experience under Linehan's system. They said he looked poised, and relax. Frerotte, they said didnt looked terrible but it was clear that on the morning practices Feeley looked better. Also they said that Boston looked ok, and was not limping al all.

Thanks for the info - it was great to finally read some info on something other than Ricky - man does that get old fast! Any info on QB's or the line is great to hear guys - thanks for the reports. Any news on when full pads come on? I'm sure they are startig slow but it was weird to have all this anticipation of wait until the pads come on and then to see them in shorts and not hitting was a bit of a let down. I'm sure they want to break into it slow while they are still learning but I really want to see how the Oline is doing.

is it true that nick exploded this morning on ferotte and the center for fumbling ? i also heard that sam madison caught heck this morning.

I know its only one practice but atleast something positve from the QB situation is comming up. I cant wait for the season.

I heard about Madison getting chewed out on 790 this morning. Saban doesn't care what your name is.
