against his former team?????

Wonder if there will be a little extra fire in his belly for this one??

If this was a year or two after his trade I could see it...It has been way too long for him to even remember where he came from.

Ricky has lingering nightmares about being talked into wearing a wedding dress on the cover of sports illustrated........................of course that kind of image never goes away. So yeh i think he will have a little fire going on.

Not only has it been so many years, but think of EVERYTHING he's been through since leaving. No way does New Orleans effect him. Hell, he smoked so much pot he probably forgets playing for them

I believe so. These guys are football players. They crave every chance they get when they play their former team that traded them. I don't care how long it's been, they always remember, and they always have something else to prove.

Hey.. Whatever happened to Deuce McCallister? The main reason the Saints traded Ricky... Does even play in the NFL anymore?? lol

i do not thing ricky having a big game this weekend will have anything to do with being traded by the saints in 02.its not like he was happy there and he got traded away, he kinda wanted to be traded. i feel like players only feel that type of extra motivation if they feel like they were betrayed, like culpepper when he played us, shockey vs the gmen this past weekend, and someone like favre next week even though he wasnt treated bad but he tells himself he was. ricky also wasnt on the saints long enough. that dosent seem like rickys personality, but hey a little extra motivation can not hurt us.

He's already been interviewed on the radio and asked this same question. He says it was such along time ago that this is just another opponet as any other. I do beleive him as well.
At this point in his career and his life, I dont think something like this would motivate him. He has other personal motivating factors thats enough for him.

I love Ricky!!!!

I had to stop and think for a sec when you pointed out that he was once a Saint... to me, he is, was and always will be a Dolphin.

He is so far removed from his New Orleans days that I doubt he has any extra motivation for this game than what he would normally have. Most NFL fans have probably forgotten that Ricky was a Saint because of all he's been through as a Dolphin.
