Ricky Williams spends his non-football days at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm in Grass Valley, Calif., teaching (without pay) and studying yoga and its many elements, such as meditation, spiritualism and positivism. Yes, Williams hopes to play football in the NFL this year. Soon, he will petition the NFL commissioner for reinstatement.

Hope they let him back in the league. It would defitnetly be nice to see the R & R express again.

i dont care anymore. itred of seeing the same crap for the last 3-4 years now.

no kidding...as much as I would love to see the Dolphins start winning on a consistent basis I just wanna see our players play and not get suspended...

i totally agree, but there is no doubt that he has talent. To me it is worth wasting a roster spot for that kind of talent and he is paid virtually nothing. It would be a risk, but if you let Morris go and stay with Minor and williams that could be a cost effective way to back up Brown with a upside.

I totally agree. What I like most about Williams from the reports I have read is that he is not only a great game-day player, but one of the best practice players around. When he runs in practice he finishes it by sprinting 20-30 yards down the field. That, to me, is the kind of thing that has a big effect on the team as a whole but is often overlooked bc you can't measure it. But what you can measure is Miami's success when he is on the field of play. Come on back RW!

if adrian peterson were to fall tu ,which he wont but if he did i think we take him and trade morris and williams to detroit for wr roy williams then all we would have to do is draft oline and a qb and draft a olb and then my aqua colored friends we are rockin and rollen . tis isnt realistic but fantasy speaking.

I've always really liked Ricky and I can't really defend that after all that has happened. But I am of the rebuilding school in this years offseason and so I would rather see him traded.

In fact, Green Bay is looking for a TE,a veteran receiver, and RB.
I would trade Mcmichael,Williams and Booker for Green Bays #1 draft pick.

That would cut nearly 10 million in salary. Even with McMichael's dead money cap hit and the money paid to a mid 1st round pick, there would still be a few million left to acquire a Deilman type player.

Considering Booker and Williams are on the backside of their careers and Randy can't remember who he is supposed to block, I think we come out ahead in the short......and defintely the long range. And it would give Favre one hell of a last shot at even more greatness.

Frankly I like Peele and Rader, and I think Massaquoi has potential. We may need to try to find a more athletic receiver type TE, but I don't think we lose that much with Peele and Rader, not after last years performance by Randy.

That is a VERY lopsided trade. No way Detroit trades their top offensive player for 2 backup running backs.

Ricky is a great change of pace for Ronnie and he comes very cheap. Can't wait to see him back.

And 5 minutes later......Matt Millen is killed and Ford Field is burned down by the fans.

With all the thugs (Pacman), Self-serving egomaniacs (TO) and Spouse abusers (pick one) it would be completely hypocritical of the NFL to deny Ricky re-instatement. Which is to say I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't. Here's someone who's clearly on a higher path -has gotten his act together spiritually (Bhuddism, meditation), Medically (herbalism, naturalism) and phsyically (yoga, vegetarianism). Granted these are methods the league and society at large, tends to marginalize but you gotta give the man credit for following his own path and attempting to better himself.

They already traded for a Denver RB (meaning it's questionable whether his performance can be attributed to the back or his superb OL) so they're not looking for RB's.

I'd keep Ricky as he'd probably have no value right now. Putting him with Ronnie, although killing Ronnie's fantasy stats, will give us a major punch.
