Ricky Visits Team Headquarters

It amazes me how everyone now seems to love Ricky. Personally I never hated him. I'm glad to see him back if he helps us win.

I never hated, but I sure lost a lot of respect for him. I don't think anyone had an issue with Wicky wanting to quit. Everyone has that right, some ppl just did not appreciate the timing and the reasons given for wanting to quit.

He is going to have to rebuild that trust that he destroyed with the players and the fans.

But he will always be Wicky to me from now on. The guy could go off the deep end at any time.

I'll admit I hated him for screwing us over, but if he can come back and make some big runs I am back on the Ricky bandwagon.

If you can look at Ricky screwing us over optimistically. He actually helped our team. Sure we had one bad season but he got rid of Wanny, Speilman and Fiedler. Our veterans should play better, because they have something to prove this season after being torched by the media the last year. We got Saban out of all this and Ricky is back. Except the team will not be built only around Ricky this time. Your team should never be one player away from being terrible.

So Rickey actually helped us last year and now he will help us kick some A** this year and teach Ronnie the position at the Pro level.

If he scores I will cheer that the Dolphins scored 6 points...I will not cheer FOR Ricky. The team means more to me than 1 player. :D

the way I see it is, if Ricky wasnt into it 100 % he wouldnt have worked to gain the weight back so quick and he would have just dawged it and show up at HQ two days early ... Im viewing the whole situation as the Vikes will view Onterio Smith this year, he just missed the year due to a drug suspension

As much as I "love" Ricky.............he needs to think about opening up a lemonade stand for his fellow playes as a "goodwill gesture!" I hope Ricky doesn't say "sh-t" to anyone............and just proves it on the field!!! I'd be willing to forgive some 8. million if he were to stay clean, make over 1000 yrds (after missing 4 games) and be willing to mentor R. Brown along the way!!! I can't wait to see the O-Play book this year!!! As Mr. T would say, " I PITTY THE FOOL!!"

i like to know which player saw him in the elevator, and what his initial reaction was
It was Daniels.

Anticipation continues to build for Ricky Williams' return Monday to the Dolphins. But the running back already has adjusted to his old surroundings.

Williams, who has reached out to some former teammates, has been to the Dolphins' training facility at least twice since returning one month ago to South Florida. He was examined by Dolphins trainers in one instance. He bumped into a draft pick Friday.

"I was getting in the elevator, he was getting off," Daniels said. "I was like, 'How you doing, I'm Travis.' He's like, 'I'm Rick.' That was about it, but it was cool to see him. I never got a chance to see Ricky in person before."

I didn't expect for Ricky to have that much weight and muscal at this time. It's good to see him going to the HQ.

Exactly. That's what I kept trying to say MONTHS ago when the speculation of him coming back first started. And it isn't like he was injured. If anything, the lay off will be a help to him because he has had a full year to recover from 2 seasons of ALOT of punishment. He will be fresh and ready to run over, around and through defenders. :D

some people just let there emotions from last year cloge their thinking i dont know why pepole think hes going to fail id be more concerned if tore is acl last year then him just resting

RW is not a good guy. He is a complete flake, and that part won't change. I will never pull for him the way I do ZT or JT. However, I will hope that Wicky's (I like that) team succeeds, and if that means he helps, well, so be it...My real hope...he turns out to be the 3rd best RB in the league and cranks up his trade value....with 1 & 2 being Ronnie and KJ........GEAUX FINS!!

I would really love to see RW returnning KO's and Punts.....that would be a great first play back for him...either he breaks it for a TD or he gets layed out
