:goof: I'm bored....input? Maybe he'll just win the award for coming back....heheh..j/k.

Not in 12 games. He will impress those following based on his gameplay. But all those critics out there will just look at his numbers, which won't be amazing sharing carries for 12 games.

To us FinFans he will be glory, everyone else will continue to mock us like they have.

The comeback POY doesn't have to have great stats, he just has to have marginal success and a good story. Ricky may end up with decent enough stats, but I doubt anyone will have sympathy on him for beating the odds and returning from......smoking pot?

Well Ricky will have marginal success, but he doesn't have a good story.

I can hear Madden now... "Well guys, guys, guys, guys, well... guys, ya know... well... Ricky quit, quit, quit... last-t-t-t year, year, because he wanted, wanted, to go to In-in-in-india. And he likes, likes, likes, likes, likes, likes, likes, likes smoking "reefer", you know thats what all the kids call it these days. Back, back, back, back in 1921 when I was, was, was, a kid we called, called, call, uhhh... call... call... uh... called it Mary Jane. Now they call it "reefer". When, when, when I... er.... we won the soup... soup... GO CHUNKY SOUP... superbowl back in the 70's the Rayy.... Rayy... Raiders went to Florida on vacation. When we were, were, were there, there, there, we saw reefs in the wa-wa-water. Er... umm... er... coral? reef? Anyway! Ri-ric-rick-ricky quit to smoke pot. Now he is back, and he ra... ran... ran for 800 yar-yar-yards, and a few TDs. I am not sure be... because my, my, my, my, my, my writer wrote the st-stats down as ticks, and I can't see, see, see well enough to count the ticks, but he's got, got, got a few! Anyway! I love McDonald's burgers. Especially those knew fish burgers, ya know? When, when, when I went to Maine one time they had good fish. Ricky is the comeback player of the year!"

heh, awesome

You left out my all-time favorite John Madden quote, "Ummmm... the team that scores the most points usually wins." John loves saying stupid stuff like this...and then he has to repeat the same thing at least 3 times in case you did not hear his stupid comment the first time.

If he can rush for around 800yds in the 12 games he plays, I think he has a chance at winning. Although whoever votes will likely be looking for someone coming back from an injury or something like that.

Or from just sucking their entire career like Drew Brees.

"Comeback" is usually reserved for players who struggle through injury, personal tragedy or some other form of adversity. Players who voluntarily create their own personal hell and inflict in on their team and millions of fans would not, in my opinion, fall into that category.

:rofl4: :bry: :vault: :chuckle:

I would have to disagree. Brown will be with us for years. It will not be hard for him to be more reliable than Ricky. As soon as Ricky has some trade value, he's gone and we will improve somewhere else on the team.
