Ricky Williams is six days from being eligible for reinstatement to the NFL, but the suspended running back may have to wait until after the draft April 28-29 before being able to officially rejoin the Dolphins.

But immediate reinstatement is unlikely because Williams' petition is subject to a review process that includes evaluation of his medical records and substance-abuse history. Williams has tested positive for marijuana three times since 2002, but his fourth failed test was for another substance.

Goodell, who recently implemented a stricter player conduct policy, has 60 days to decide Williams' status.

If Adrian Peterson slides and is there at 9 there is no question he is the BPA, you have to take him. If we can snag Quinn would anyone be bother by drafting Bush in the 3rd or 2nd rd. What a draft that would be if you can snag those two players......

I say Bush in the 3rd, maybe our latter 2nd round pick. Bush came to U of L as a QB and he has excellent hands.

If we draft a running back on the first day, Miami isn't taking Williams back. It would be hard to pass on Peterson but I just don't like the pick. I understand he would be the best player availabe but if we were to draft him, I'd hope it would be with the intentions of trading him.

If Peterson doesn't slide and we take a running back on the first day, that would be pretty dumb if you ask me. We are pretty secure for a while at RB and I just don't see the reasoning to drafting there.

Mueller and Cam know exactly what they are planning to do with Ricky. They already know. It also makes sense to wait till after the draft to let the league know ricky is back on the team, because like others have said, teams cant gaurentee we pass on AP then. Keeps the league guessing as well on that issue.

if peterson is there we will take him. with no ricky for sure, it would be stupid to pass. And if it came to it we go with ronnie and peterson and if ricky get reinstated he is third string. his salary is VERY palitable as 3rd string. Three fresh backs of this calliber would kill opposing defenses late in the game. Then next year we could trade one of the three and still have two very strong backs next year. Same situation as when randy was in new orleans. look what he got back from us for ricky. basically we have ronnie and no one else really at this point, we have to look at it that way at the moment.

I swear if that would happen, I would have to get plastered. Do any of you remember the last time our back field something like that. Czonka,Morris, Kick. Could you imagine Ronnie,Peterson,Ricky.

:ricky:

Would be nice to get some picks from Buffalo or Denver.

Or some kind of package that includes Brady Quinn. I wonder if the Browns would be interested in Daunte Culpepper and Adrian Peterson for Brady Quinn if they were the ones who drafted him.

As for the runningbacks, I think the 2 guys in your avy will do just fine next year.

Peterson would not hurt. You know the new saying these days, Quantaty over Quality.

That would be rediculous. You could play each one a different quarter, and then play the one who is having the best day in the fourth haha. Defenses would be so worn out. Ha. But in all seriousness, that would be a great group of runningbacks. Next year we would definitely get something in return for one of them.

Look how well it worked out for the Jags we would be the envy of the league. Now on even more serious note. We still need a line with the rest of the picks and hopefully it is adressed.

Agree 100%. They've known what they were going to do about a lot of issues for a while now. It's a timing issue... make your best move when it's to your best advantage. The rest of the time, keep 'em guessing.

if peterson did happen I could see Randy packaging a few pick to get into the late first to get staley. and jumping on kalil if he somehow falls into the second for another trade up and picking a qb even later. If not then taking kolb somewhere along the lines. I would be ummmm..... plastered drunk after 5 min if this happened. This possibility can be supported by randy saying this 7th for jones gives us a lot of leverage in this draft.
