Ricky Williams Highlights

I think people (including myself) are disappointed Ricky left the way he did. If he talked to someone about it... went for advice. Going off his medication might have been a mistake, he needed help with his mental health. If he needed a break, I wish he would've went about it a different way. Maybe he could have seeked professional help if he couldn't deal with everything himself. There's no denying that he is mentally unstable. By no means whatsoever would I have wanted him playing on the field with no passion or becoming a locker room cancer. I just don't know if he has a passion now or if he's just coming back now because he's broke and owes us $8.6 million.

I'm really confident with Saban and trust his decision making. And I can't deny that I'm excited and I am so pumped for this season!! :rawk:

If Ricky returns to form, I'd want him back in a heartbeat. And yeah, I wouldn't call same the best coach in the NFL... but Wanny being the worst isn't that far off.
Well you cant blame Wanny for having a bad season last year. He lost the best RB the NFL has seen in a decade and that was his whole Offense.

Im still not sold on Brown or Saban. Ill know what I think about them after week twelve.

Well I can so blame Wanny for having a bad season. For starters..He had a love affair with Fielder. Two, never gameplaned. Three, brought in the bums from the bears. Four...Took no anitiative(sp)..always made excuses for the players that made bad plays. Need I go on?? The guy plain out sucked. He made Pee Wee football coaches look like Zeus.

I don't care what people say..... I miss seeing him on the field. All the off the field crap and retirement stuff aside. I miss seeing what its like having a running game

I know... He was badass on the field.

That would be great man. You=Cool (For a Bills fan) :cooldude: Ricky ran 200+ yards twice that season. It would've been 3 times but he was like 10 or 15 yards short the final game of that season against New England. A game I still can't figure out how we lost...

Wasn't it 3 times??? twice against Buffalo and once vs CHicago???

Nah, it was only twice in 2002 against Buffalo (once) and Chicago. (Almost 3 times because he was 15 yards short of 200yds the last game of the season against New England). But he didn't come close to 200yds the first time we played Buffalo in 2002. Although in 2003, he had his best game of the season against Buffalo and had like around 150 yds.

Yeah the difference between 2002 Ricky and 2003 Ricky was huge. I'll never forget the Ricky in 2002 but the one I last saw on the field in 2003 averaged 3.5 yards a carry, had absolutely crap for acceleration and burst (compared to 2002), and admitted to "not running hard". You guys have to remember how slow he looked most of the time in 2003. I mean, he averaged a half yard less than Sammy Morris this past year.... That being said, if he comes back I hope he kicks ***...I just hope Ronnie Brown kicks more ***.
