hey, i relize that the depth chart has him at 3rd string right now, and thats without ronnie on it, but here the reasons i think hes the best.

1.) All backs have looked good in practice. he seems to stick out more though
2.) all those guys ahead of him, have been working their as$ off
3.) ricky still has the 4 game suspension
4.) Ricky hasnt proven he can still play

that depth chart doesnt mean jack shiit. we will see who our runningback is after preseason.....

the depth chart is like the hyman. if we have a choice, it matters but most of the time we'll take whatever looks good.

Even when Ronnie comes back Ricky will still be the best back in the stable imo. The depth chart is bogus right now. Ricky does have a four game suspension, but he'll prove his doubters wrong.

I wouldn't get excited about the current depth chart. I believe its based on who would start if the regular season began right now. Brown is not under contract and Ricky Williams cannot play until the fifth regular season game. Gordon is #1 by default.

I agree

i agree with this thread title as well.

i also say dont trade him and let retire again as a fin cause i dont want him tearing it up for another team.

i hope there is a deal in place b/w ricky and wayne that goes like this:

you play for us for X number of years, we pay what you deserve, and we wipe away all debts after that X number of years without any more problems.

Ricky is an all-universe talent. I've seen him play live since his Texas days. You can't learn or develop what he has. When he regains his conditioning and timing, he will tear it up again. For all the nay-sayers, remember this post around week 8 or 9. That's when I expect a new and improved Ricky to begin terrorizing NFL defenses.

No doubt about it he will tear it up once again. Make Takio(sp) look like a little school girl once again! Remeber that game guys??? TS was tallking crap all game,(cant remeber what he kept repeating...little help there) Ricky shut him up though, made him look foolish.
