Im tired of all this talk about Miami tradeing Ricky Williams for a 1st round pick or for a Quarterback
IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN ANYTIME SOON!!!!
I agree that Miami should get rid of him and find a Quarterback, but does anyone know how much Ricky is getting paid?? He's not making nothing!
I forget exactly how much but i know he is one of the lowest paid in the NFL.
Ricky has no value to the NFL right now, so no teams are willing to trade much for him. Ricky didnt even play half a season this year. He didnt play at all last year, because he quited on his team to smoke weed......why would a team wont that??? why would a team give a 1st round pick for him??? why would a team give their starting Quarterback for him???
The best trade i think we could get from Ricky is like a 4th round pick (if that much)
Nick Saban knows the value that Ricky has TO THE TEAM, NOT THE NFL.
For example: Say Miami trades Ricky to the Cardinals and we get a 4th round pick.
Who would you rather have at RB...Ricky Williams or a 4th rounder RB????
see thats the value Ricky has, we know how good Ricky is, but his money doesnt show it because he hasnt been playing. I think Miami will keep Ricky and give him plenty of carries in the 2006 season to kinda show him off to other teams who might get intrested in him for a trade.
So if Ricky gets over 1500 yards then a lot of teams will want him more and will be willing to trade a possible 1st round pick or for a Quarterback.
