Was Ricky Williams more productive last year than he was during the pre-tuna years?

Not to sarcastic, but he passed his drug tests and was healthy last year-he still may have talent but unfortunatley he has not had a full season since last year in a while.

umm He still holds the individual record for the Miami dolphins with the most yard in a season 2002 and hes number 2 with the most yards overall. Ricky has had hes drug issues but Ricky was a beast his first couple of years that man got the ball a lot.
Look at those records that's how much he got the ball. **** that's probably why he turned to weed hes body probably was in a lot of pain and wanted to relax a bit. :D

He got in shape. We all laughed when he left us to do yoga, but he came back in great shape. He might be a few years older, but after sitting out a few years from football, he is recharged.

I also think him and Tuna have a good relationship. Ricky worked his butt off in preseason for Bill and ended up starting week 1 for us.

when you consider he actually played yes, funny most of his career as a fin he was suspended

He was the most unselfish player I have ever seen in a dolphin uniform last year. He's paid his penance. I wish people would just watch the damn game and lay off the hooka crap.

How can you call a guy that left his team high and dry to go to some location to smoke weed unselfish. To me that is very selfish. And as far as paying his penance. Some of us have longer memories than others. And I for one don't count one year back as penance paid. Yeah he did ok last year. but lets not get ahead of ourselves here.

Ricky is an aging back who could have had a pretty good career had he been smarter. And could have been hall of fame worthy. It kills me when I see all these people who think Ricky is the greatest thing that ever came along. And again if you are a fan this is a guy that left your team high and dry and screwed you in a couple of ways.

Now don't get me wrong as a person I am glad he is getting some things back together. But he is not what he was. And probably will never will be. Which is why we should look to get a younger back now . To go along with Ronnie.

I wont lie. I felt hurt that august he decided to walk. But he has done what he has to to come back and help us. I'm not saying to forgive him for everything. But this guy has shown he is here to help the Dolphins. He is a Dolphin and will do whatever it takes to help us.

Look, he is a little older in age, but still is you as far as playing in the NFL. He is a great compliment to Ronnie. I like the two of them together in our backfield and would like to see that for a while. We do not need to think about a RB at this point.

Run Ricky Run!
he's had a long lay-off & no offensive line to compliment the running game
I think 2009 will be his redemption & turn around season. I'm sure he has a couple years left on those wheels & wants to go out the right way. Ricky is a once in a decade running back, the real deal.
