OK, I don't want to curse it. But Ricky has yet to fumble at all this year. Nope, not once. And the reason is pretty simple. It isn't that he has carried it less. It's because his biceps aren't as big. His arms were so big in the past that he was unable to get his arm wrapped securely around the ball because his arms are so short. His arms are somewhat slimmer now so he's able to get a better, more stable hold on the ball and hold it tighter to his body. Anyway, that's what I think.
Whatever it is, it's good to see him not putting the ball on the ground.

How come people think the "Curse" concept only works for bad things? I mean if you can just say something and make it happen then I say:

"Fins sneak into the playoffs, and win the Super Bowl as this years suprise Cinderella team."

He fumbles once in the next game now.

LOL..you guys sound like my dad. He doesn't watch sometime because he is so supersticious...

It is true, those big *** arms must have been in the way some what!

Welcome to Finheaven!

is it possible he just practied not to fumble i mean what do you think he did in the beginning of the season, they do get paid alot of money, they can work for it too sometimes

Ricky usually doesn't hold the ball out away from his body when he runs with it ....like Michael Vick does for instance....and I think most d-backs know that if they try and pull Ricky down by his upper body or try to strip it that they will get pulled for another 3-4 yards.

Well, he's been playing football for so long that trying NOT to fumble is second nature. Sure, there are fumble drills that are always ran. But there was a reason Ricky fumbled more than an average back does. I just happen to think his arm size had alot to do with it.

If you think about it, Ricky hasn't fumbled in almost two years. He really has been practicing!
