Ricky Williams: The Wildcat is Dead

This is fallout after Pace & Ryan opened their mouths about Miami's gimmick offense.

Some phins players said, "if you don't like it, shut it down"

This IMO Is just Ricky's way of getting his 2 cents in and having fun while doing it.

Not difficult to understand what he's saying. The WC is as much a normal and conventional part of their offense as the I, Pro Formation, etc. Pretty simple.

I see nothing from that article that should lead one to conclude Ricky has lost his mind in any way...so to answer your question, no he has not, yet.

I sometimes forget that sarcasm doesn't go over too well on message boards.

Yet another well-thought out comment by Ricky, the guy that most a-holes out there dismiss as a 'pothead.'

F*** everyone who calls him a pothead, in many interviews he says he doesn't smoke anymore and just listening to this guy for years, I believe him. He is is intelligent on and off the field. People who call him a pothead are fans who are frustrated that their defense just got burned by him because he is STILL explosive, and he could easily be a starter on more than half of the NFL teams.

Ricky's point is well taken. Our offense is our offense, and Monday night we saw a little bit of everything: vertical passing game, short passing game, screens, power runs, spread, QB draw, Wildcat...Henning is a mad scientist like Martz but does more with less.

Honestly, even if he still does smoke weed, its not a big deal. It's kinda of dumb how everyone makes it to be a big deal. Smoking weed is no different then smoking cigs. Plus, smoking weed is much less of a "stigma" (if you want to call it that) then half of what the NFL does

If you listen to the audio, the end starts to get funny when Patrick to ask if Sparano or Parcells would ever ask him for a massage...

I like Ricky and he's always a good interview

The funny thing to me is. One of the main reasons I like Ricky is because of his affinity for the Gonja. lol

I don't think he was high when he said this because he is making too much sense.

On another note. It seems that there are a lot of these threads where people completely miss read the context of particular comments or situations. Maybe we could get a picture of Ricky standing about 100 yards a way and try to figure out what Ricky meant by the way he is standing.

even if Ricky does still smoke, I wouldn't care but the league bans it so I care that he stays playing for the Dolphins.

If Ricky was not in the NFL though, I don't care if he smokes it or not. The fact is, the guy is a great person, and he's intelligent and well spoken.

The unreal hurdle play Ricky did last Monday PROVES what a man on the field he is. Him and Ronnie are REAL FOOTBALL players are we are VERY LUCKY to have 2 RB's like that. It's a pleasure to watch the REAL FOOTBALL they play as opposed to the flag football of the divas like Brady boy.
